The 2nd last bend, the uphill right hander will be even harder with the new transmission model.

The downshift was always hard enough before and I think a lot of people will be going off backwards on a regular basis.

This has been a real problem track for me, I don't think I've manged to finish a race here in my entire time with iRacing Sad

I should get a good run at some decent practice time prior to the event though and this one will break my duck Smiley

Only managed a handful of laps tonight.

Grabbed my setup from my folder and it did not feel right, but on saying that it was my first laps in the Mazda for weeks.

Comparing against my old best lap time I was dropping lots of time on the straights.

I've got a lot to do to get up to racing standard, but I fully expect 18s tomorrow night.

Finally good to get a race in but I did manage 3 last week in the Skip.

I thought I was doing pretty well to get into the 1:20s and that was on banzai qualifying lap type driving. If the guys at the front are 2 seconds a lap faster then I suspect only the podium will be on the same lap as the leader come the end! Cheesy

Have to say this really challenging circuit is totally wasted with this hairdryer car. The IndyCar rocks around here, but the Mazda just feels like a damp squib in comparison. No grip and no power versus power and grip.

I know how you feel Spanner! I was pretty pleased to get within sniffing distance of a 1:21.
