Aston - 1:49 with race fuel
1:49:7xx. Once I find out how to do the first chicane... 48s for aliens for sure, race pace.

Best quali attempt on server: 1:47.4XX, which would have been around 1:47.0 with a perfect lap I think. My race pace should see only some 48's but mostly low 49's. Not 100% sure I'll do this race, but should be there

i did my first laps too and i did 1.48.3 as best lap in quali setup, hard to get a lap without mistakes, i do often brake to late because of the black brake rubber, which i think is brake point for F1 cars and much to late for GT cars. not easy to find correct line for me. i do wait for another laps till i do know the weather, can be rain perhaps. not 100% sure if i can drive, the 5 year old daughter from sister of my wift is here and do sleep tonight in our house, and perhaps i have to play with her or doing something other (hope not) - and she always will drive with my wheel

Having a miserable opening few laps when suddenly Geforce disappeared in front of me. First disco here for a looooong time, although I did have one in Evo over at RD last week. Hope these don't start creeping in on me again

Ended up dropping to the back and dunno if i was trying too hard but the car didnt feel good and a few spins later decided to give up. Not enjoying these 'sprint' races, too much pressure, not enough time means i ended up just overdriving. I can see it getting to the point i'll end up not doing anything at this rate.

bad nights racing for me :'( just couldnt get the car to do what i wanted, struggling for grip and naff understeer. Found the track surface extra slippy and had to brake very early for some corners and then having to drag the car around the apex. Had some good chases throughout the race and it was fun when 3 or 4 cars running together despite lingering towards the rear of the grid. Spent most of my race in 11th or 12th. Pitted same time as H@L and thought i had made a pretty quick stop despite him pulling out just ahead of me. We had a great chase for about 15minutes or so until he span in front of me in one of the nastier corners of this track and i found myself amazingly 7th. Didnt enjoy the fruits of my labour for long as i got a low fuel warning with 10mins remaining So i had to make a very late splash and dash with less than 5min left on the clock and i dropped to the back of the field :'( Dont know how it happened as convinced i set my fuel for race setup this afternoon but when i checked, the stop only had 26mins of fuel put in instead of 30 Not a good night for points but enjoyed the banter on TS and nice to see a few more faces at the races

Fun and tough race. I made many mistakes but, ended up having some good fights as a result. Good fights with Spanner, MJ, ApexTech and Matt and a few others. Good stuff. I had to drop back after causing an incident with Spanner, I hope no one else got messed up by that. Sorry Spanner and anyone else who had a close call as a result of my mistakes. Well done podiums. See you all next time.

Really enjoyed that & chuffed to see an improved turnout, hope it carries over to the end of the season. Did a 1.1sec pb in qually on my 1st/2nd flying lap & so parked up & worked on my race set up Was all over H@L at the start, partly due to my decent race pace & partly due to Busi enjoying a few moments just in front of us. The final one slowed us both but H@L more & I slipped past, but H@L & Spanner (who's also caught us by this point) had a bit of a tangle I think & I was away! Very quickly built up a 6-8 sec cushion in just a few laps, but then I started drifting wide & going off & I was saying on TS that "I don't know what's wrong with my car" & then Matt was oh so quickly on me Him passing was like flicking a switch back on in me the car & all my car troubles were gone (always blame your tools ). We went at it immediately & it was quality fun, highlight of the race for me. I'd say we were even or he had a fraction advantage through sectors 1 & 3, but sector 2 was mine & felt I was being held up (as Matt defended well when he needed) so I pitted early to try to jump in the pits. Jump him I did, by 40 secs! What did you do , change your tyres twice? From there, I was on my own & just enjoyed bringing the car home on a track I very much enjoy. Congrats to all finishers & hard luck to MJ, who after managing his 1st decent pit-stop in history... found he'd not taken on enough fuel :'( /

I had a good race but not best performance by me. 1st mistake in 1st corner of 1st racing lap, from 3rd down to 5th. Then a few position exchanges with TT and Lazlow where I had good fun. Although when you are trying to pass someone you're not directly racing with (I had my mind on Berger and the magic 25 seconds gap) it gets frustrating to lose time. But again, great fun. It looks like it was lag when you spun me TT, but it also looks like it was lag when I took your position in T6, in my replay there's no contact but your car acts as if there had been, so sorry there. We're 50/50 I guess As I said, I had my eyes on the gap with Berger which was around 22-23 seconds before the pitstops. I kept tyres and put a bit less fuel in, rejoined in the lead 4 seconds in front of him. But I knew he was gonna be 2 seconds a lap faster, and even if I could defends for 3 laps or so, I put a wheel on the grass (like last race! damn ) and he took the place. No chance to fight him after that, brought the car home. Grats Berger and all finishers Oh and great track! Only problem as we said is the slight cutting that can happen in T1 and the fast chicane. And the pit entry is also critical, watch smartass Berger coming into pits

I am always amazed at how quick you manage to do stops Legzy. I felt I was getting in your way a bit, but I was trying to conserve the fronts so I might not have to change them. A couple of times I was not sure whether you were going for a pass or just hassling, so I stuck to my line, saw you losing time now and then as you had to back off to avoid contact, but hey that's racing. If you had got into a definate pass position I would not have made it hard. Tyres would have lasted, but car was getting a bit unpredictable, so swapped them, overshot my pit box, and had to reverse then turn off damage repair, only a few seconds wasted, yet as you say, you gained more than 30 secs. ON fresh tyres managed to catch and pass NSfast, MJ when he went to the pits for a pee, and then caught and had a great dice with HAL, untill he went half sideways in the last corner and I nipped through. Good race (again) either you lot are getting slower, or I am getting better, either way, is always good to have some people to play with for the whole race. EDIT: If an hour is a sprint.....
