11 laps or so, best was a 1.07.0 offline

About the same amount of pracci here with best of 1:07.4 atm in the 997. So tempting to carry too much speed onto Rebbit and run wide. Same at the top of the track with the exit of the tight L/R. And I thought this might be another Porsche track  Roll Eyes

1:07.1 is my best so far with race fuel too.

Sounds like it could be a good close race to end the GTC season Smiley

Well I would say that was about as close as it could have been when you only get 11 drivers on the grid. Qually was particularly close, but as usual, most of the fighting was taken care of in the 1st 20 mins (again partly due to the small grid). Best part of the race for me though, was a decent scrap with Apex. Cool

Congrats to API on the drivers title & to Team Oldie for the title (yes, another one Wink)

Hope to see you all again next week, supporting the upper endurance final round. There were only 8 drivers for the final round last season & it would be disappointing to see anything like that low again. Remember everyone, there is a 'drop week' in the league tables, so you can still make up/lose a few places for the final standings... not to mention Silverstone is an above average track Wink

Not a great final round for a fairly dismal GTC season for me, taking the Fezza 430 for the first time. Never managed to get real pace out of it and judging by the complete lack of any other 430's on grid this season i am guessing its not one of the quickest available in GTC.  Undecided

Banged in some decent qually times and was 5th until last couple of minutes whereupon i dropped to 8th  Roll Eyes

Soon found myself upto 6th by end of lap 1 and looking forward to a good close race but got an unusual oversteer out a corner and dropped to the back  Angry Then had a great 20+min chase battle with Goldtops porker, always within 1.5 secs of each other until i got another spin out of the exit of the final chicane which dumped me well and truly out of the running...pants!

Congrats to API for the win and the championship, thoroughly deserved with his amazing pace this season  Cool

Bad end to what was an improving season for me. Couldn't get a quali lap together in the 997, until one last minute effort scraped me into 7th. Had a good start but threw it all away when I spun out at the esses on lap 1, then spun it again at T1 lap 2 tryig to make up time Hit with a wet fish A non more deserving slap with the wet fish for that.

At 10 secs off the back of the field I almost quit with disgust, but then MJ made a mistake giving me someone to race with. Must admit the F430 isn't the car it used to be and has been neutered for its past glories I reckon. Anyway, an enjoyable race in the end.

Congrats to API for a great championship and thanks Legzy for putting it all together  Cool

Car felt better than single player practice (now that's a new one Roll Eyes ) and I made a solid quali time. Even so I couln't get to H@l and Pete even while they were at eachother. Needless to say, H@l drove off once their duel was resolved. Was running away from nsfast and kept a few sec distance. Once Pete caught him it was just a matter of time. And we had some close lap with Pete until he came at me on a back straight. Went defensive and missed my braking point, run wide and took all the space from Pete. Lips Sealed He had to evade me and spun. Watched the replay and saw it was my fault completely. Sorry, Pete. Embarrassed iBeer for now and if I ever do come over to this tiny island of yours... Wink  As MJ would say, I'm preparing for it like a hungry man goes to squat. Tongue

Anyways, nice season though I must say I'm a bit fed up with the GTC class. Bring on GT2s. Cool

boys, I think you're confussed (understandable of MJ Wink). Our gt2 F430 was always "super competitive", but despite some remarkable results in my hands Kiss, our GTC F430 has always been very mid-pack & wasn't neutered in recent physics packs

Huh what the heck does that mean ? I can safely say i have never used that expression in my life !...you crazy foreigners  laugh

GTC F430 seemed pretty lacklustre to me. You had to drive the balls off the damn thing, really ragging it (or overdriving like last night!) and still not getting the times. But was the first season i've ever used a fezza so no surprise really.

The F430 in Evo feels rather cool to drive, like you'd expect from one of Maranellos finest. Smiley

Nice race. Smiley

I had a good fight with picnic at the start and TT was in my mirrors for a while. I was just about hanging on to Lazlow but, it looked like he was just maintaining a gap and I could not get close.

I have enjoyed the season and the Aston was fun to drive for me. Thanks Legzy for the work that you have put in. Smiley

Well done API and Lazlow. API has been super fast.

See you all next season. Wink

Very annoyed. Qualified at the back but with so many people falling off i was reasonably happy trying to keep it steady. But the long corner before the final chicane is a tricky one and always difficult to judge if i'm going to understeer off. Going through it, got distracted by Legzy on TS wasnt paying attention, ran wide over the curbs on the left which speared me into the barriers by the chicane.

Good ridance to this season, not been the most fun. I'd agree this car has been penalised too much, even if nsfast was able to put in an amazing effort in it at times. Only at one race, mid-ohio did i feel i was actually on a resonable pace. However i did want to try a different car this season other than the 997 but dont seem to get on well with most.

Thanks to Legzy for putting up with us this season and organising it all in difficult circumstances.

Looking forward to the new order next season with H@L. no pressure!
