Ha, I feel like Petrov! Keeping Berger behind even with his worn tyres feels like a win. Smiley  Messed up the pitstop again, took too much fuel (I have a petrifying fear to be left without it) and had 4 laps of fuel left at the end. That was the reason I came back on a track late, just before Berger. I knew if he gets by I'll never gonna be able to get the place back. Didn't see the replay but I don't have a feeling I was blocking the way in the left / right combo after start (T2/T3). We had contact but I managed to keep it on track and Berger waited for me to recover (thanks Smiley ). After my tyres came up to temps it was clear Berger had old tyres and I managed to stay in front 'till the end. Smiley

C6R is a great car, I must say, love it. Cool Bad luck MJ, you were fast in P1. Sad
Busi should be forced to pit twice. Tongue

I'm never quick here, and it looked like a boring trundle round at the back with my hard tyres hoping to not
to change, as it was I swapped them for mediums at the stop, had some good fun chasing Jose before
and after the stops, so turned out to be a good race even if we were wayyyyyy behind  Smiley

Having only really switched to the Corvette 20mins before hand wasnt really expecting much but qually was the first time i ran with low fuel so was quite surprised to get in the 37's. There were quite a few within a few tenths so was expecting a good race.
With MJ right behind was expecting something but wasn't quite expecting as we are heading to the hairpin/ tight left my screen goes black for a second. Managed to scrabble round eventually but MJ had got past. Then eventually managed to catch him up and had a good dice with him and Apex and managed to get past and stretch my legs a bit. Managed to catch up Mike who seemed to be struggling in the Viper tried a move downthe inside of turn one but he didnt see me so sorry about that.
Managed to get past after he made a mistake and was closing on nsfast and H@L as they must have been dicing. H@L made a mistake and ended up behind me and was closing so thought i'd mention i was pitting on TS but sadly he was pitting also and that extra pressure meant i wasnt as cautious as i should have been. I engaged the limiter early and was slowing down but i guess its quite a low speed here and it caught me out. So after serving my stop-go the next lap i was right at the back annoyingly but with Apex 13 secs up the road. So tried to get my head down and ty and push to close it but didnt really make much dent into it in the end.

Shame you didnt stick around Mark we might have ended up together!

Nice to jump into the GT cars for a quickie. Like spanner said earlier, I was really struggling with the Viper. Throwing on the GTC setup and expecting it to work with the GT1 cars was a bit foolish on my part. The car had massive understeer on corner entry and mid-corner and would snap sideways with throttle application in slow corners.  Still, I had an opportunity to race which is better than working anyday.

I saw the move Spanner. I was a bit too agressive with the defense. I think we touched just a bit if memory serves me correctly.

I got the sense you weren't far enough up inside. Only the video replay will tell the story. Going forward, if you are up to the front of my door when we both brake and I dive for the apex, it is technically your corner; hit me/stand your ground.

i was mega disapointed to have to leave this early on as i think this is a great track for GT racing and it was looking like it was going to be a great race long battle with a good few similar placed drivers. But for some reason my car sucked in race setup despite me being able to do regular 37's with it in pre race praccy  Huh Come the race it was awful to drive, and no matter what i tried setup wise, and i did a shedload of practise for this race as knew the GT1's need it here, i couldnt ever get a decent feeling car or break into the 36's yet alone 35's that some did. I constantly had an overheating left rear tyre for one.

Am amazed TT got so much extra pace out the same car, i must have gone down a deadend setupwise, which can happen sometimes when your trying different things.  :'(

I think this track suits me, MJ. I remember doing a hoot in MC12 some years back that nobody could believe - not even myself. Tongue Love it. Kiss
