i did a good race yesterday, i had the complete 1st stint busi close behind me, but his car was to slow in straights to come close to me, but in the corner busi was always faster then me, this was a little frustration, because i did know if busi stay close behind to pitstop time then i can not win this race.
i did pit in lap 18 and after this did try to push push and hope that busi do make change tyres too and i perhaps (but not much realistic) stay in front after his stop.
but this do not happen and he come 1 or 2 sec. in front of me  out of pits, i did know that i must overtake him in this lap when his tyres and brake are cold, i did come close behind but not close enough for overtake, then after 1 lap he did make extrem fast laps and i could not follow him, i was a little surprised how fast laptimes he did and after he did a 1.40.9xx i did know he will be to fast in this race.
yesterday i was quick angel, but busi was quicker :'(, well done busi, great race with lister!!!

congrats to truetom too for 3rd place

thanks to the UKGTR chiefs for running the league.

hope i can drive next season too

Another dreadful GT1 outing for me which was made worse by my usual dire pitting. Lugged around a full tank of fuel only to have to go back and fore in my pit box to trigger the pitboard Roll Eyes

Congrats to Busi on the win, Berger for the championship and to Legzy for putting it all together. Well done to roofrider too for finishing his first race with us.

For anyone interested, this is what I set out to do as GTR2 chief back in June: HERE

With an average attendance of just over 14 drivers per race for both championships in this season 13, it's been an... OK season. Undecided

We had 16 Championship races, eight were at tracks not previously used in UKGTR2. Some I think were popular choices, others it seems people could have done with out (I remember finishing one race myself thinking, that track didn't work as well as I hoped... lol).
I liked the shorter 60 minute enduro (though Spanner has told me a million times he doesn't laugh) & it was good to see some of the drivers mixing it up by doing full distance on one set of hards instead of two sets of mediums, added in an extra tactical side to the racing. Though I think that mixing up the endurance race lengths would probably have been even better (anything between 60-90mins Undecided).
Shame the reintroduction of variable weather never really seemed to produce... err rain. Must have been the dryest winter in decades!
I think the new scoring introduced worked well, with a dropped score week, you're more likely to end up with the rightful champion, yet a closer championship to fight for.
Speaking of fighting for things, I was particularly chuffed at how even I managed to get the physics pack, with all races usually finishing with five different cars in the top five! Shocked Cool
But I wish I'd used the GT2 cars, I missed them this season (my favourite class) & it's a shame though not a surprise that nobody took on the task offer of finding us a couple of cars to add in (like for me I guess time was the issue), but I'm pretty sure H@L's going to put that right for us all for next season Grin.

Anyway, thanks to Dave & Pete for there help & indeed all for attending & a few of you for your encouragement/support along the slightly shorter than expected ride that was 'Legzy, Director of UKGTR'.

I leave you in very good hands, over to you H@L clap

The King is dead, long live the King.

Thanks for setting us a challenge each week Legzy, there were some fun races on the journey for me and some dreadful ones. Roll on S14.

Many thanks Legzy for the all time and effort you put into organsing S13.  Smiley

It was a very enjoyable season with some great on track action along the way. I thought numbers kept up very well considering the fall off in S12.

Roll on S14.  Grin

I've probably sunk to my lowest this season, didnt really enjoy it at all so i'm sorry if your taking it all personally Legz! Clearly everyone else seemed to step up a bit this season whereas at times i was pushing too much just try and keep up. I kept being drawn to the Aston from glories past but for whatever reason it just didnt feel the same.
