I was watching Inside Sim Racing recently and learned iRacing has changed the modelling of clutches and transmissions to match those of the actual cars. Some have sequential boxes and some utilize H-pattern. I also heard the transmission will grid and basically behave badly if you do not clutch properly. Is this true? I've got a lonely clutch pedal on my rig that could use some exercise.

Have any of you been ignoring the transmission grinding or simply turning on auto-clutch and/or auto-blip?

Maybe I should just give in and send iRacing all my money so I can exercise my clutch?

Everyone is having a day off.

You now need your clutch for iRacing in the cars that require it.

After all the people calling for  better transmission models lots of people now use a push button or even worse a macro to assist in their gear changes.

For us who are inept at computing but can drive a little, we use the clutch.
