This season seems to have whizzed by, we're nearly at week 13 again. I'm thinking that running one of the new cars, either the MX5 or the Williams, would be a good choice. Everyone will have the MX5 and it should be fairly easy to pick up and race, I wonder if the Williams will be good for racing unless people have put a lot of time into taming it. Thoughts welcome  |

Mazda races should be great (assuming the gearbox isn't horrible). I imagine the Williams will be incredibly hard to have good races in.

The caveat to this is that the cars might not be available on the Tuesday.
I might rope in Oily and see if we can run the fun race on the Friday if that's the case.

I'm surprised there's not been a pre-buy offer on the Williams and Spa yet. Maybe they realise (probably correctly) they probably don't need to offer discounts on these two!

I decided not to schedule any league races in week 13 just in case the new build left us in a situaltion where iRacing was unavailable or any major changes left us in a tricky situation.
We've never run a league race in week 13 for that reason.
I know it's unlikely but better safe than sorry in my book!

Mazda sounds like a good idea. if we use the roadster version, do we get to take our helmets off and let the air rush over our heads?  Not sure I'm buying the Williams straight away cause I haven't got any more content that I want to get to get a discount, but we'll see. It's definately a car I want, but if there are no leagues for it, not sure what the point of buying it would be. |
