quit making excuses Wink

lol Thanks Adam, you took the words right out of my...fingers. Not that I want to promote a culture of not practicing but I don't you have to be quite so concerned with that for these events Paul....but you know you'll be quick in any case!

BTW the Miata racing series drivers on the server last night were saying the baseline setup for the Cup is spot on, although we were at Road Atlanta so not sure how that'll compare.

Given the site maintenance scheduled for today, does it affect plans for the race at all?

I am loving these two cars!

I really hope not! If it does I'll just be re-arranging for when the service resumes, i don't have any other plans tonight so late night racing sounds fine by me Smiley

Got to agree, am loving both cars but I could not take the grin off crashing down through the gears in the Williams for Club, just love that feeling  - I even ran close to somebody for a bit! Smiley

Unfortunately my daughter has 4 friends over tonight

You want to try "lets play race engineer" Gary - fun for all the family! There's fetching beers, calculating strategy, fanning the overheating driver and much much more  Grin

You want to try "lets play race engineer"

lol - my engineer would just be saying "you need to pick up the pace", "Are you sure you're using all the gears?" and "We're eating ice cream, you can come in and get one, but it wouldn't impress SRouk" Cheesy

"you need to pick up the pace", "Are you sure you're using all the gears?"

Hahaha, obviously another recruit from the Rob Smedley school of engineering!   laugh

Nice vid Don cheers - I can barely see at the moment for poor FPS, that's another world compared to mine since this wretched update.

Anyone else having any probs as mine's a pretty decent spec machine or so I thought!?

I might try and pop in for the MX-5 event. Haven't bought the FW31 and probably won't. Got to do some practice for tomorrow's 500km of Watkins Glen in case I get a slot. Wink

Dave the F1 is worth getting, I'm very impressed with it.

Oh, James, the race engineer thing. I don't think take up on that will be that high!

Wow, that looks awesome with that massive grid. Those sorts of events are only any good with a big grid, so that should be nice and busy.

I would definitely do that race, but I'm going to the theatre on Saturday evening already. Sad

Yep, which means Oily will have to move the start time one hour later (and shorten practice by an hour to keep it on the same schedule). Also means there will be no practice or buying/downloading of cars (for those of us that haven't yet) before hand! Shocked

Groan!
Just sat down for some fun and no iRacing  :'(

Had a spin in Mazda and Williams earlier!
Awesome!
The Williams is a little less 'exciting' ! / easier to drive than the Indy car Sad
but good solid fun.
May be the whingin, moanin iRacing deserters might have liked the F1 car but hey their loss! Smiley

Hoping to be out to play tonight Smiley
Looking forward to the F1 most of all Smiley
