Now how do I apply 10 place grid penalties for you Rabble Rousers?

You don't need to worry about doing that for Pops - he's already disadvantaged enough when sitting on the grid . Ta for opening the car choice up - I for one will most likely use the 6-speed, as that's what I drove in a race last night, and I'll not get a chance to practice before tomorrow most likely. I'm sure it'll be fine, I can't imagine that there's much between them, and if anything, it'll make the racing more interesting as the cars would presumably be quicker in different areas of the track.

Ok that's fine, so ten places less than last is.... Yeah no worries Adam, that's a good point about the cars being quicker in different areas - would be quite a result if that's the case...time to do some testing! Really looking forward to this one - I tell you what though, I am not at all impressed with what these updates have done to my frame rate! It was comfortable almost on max everywhere previously but even reducing the settings down to class 5 I was running at less than 50 fps yesterday at Mid-Ohio (Mazda) :'(.

P.S. is one reset going to be enough for Adam? Depends if you're racing or not Darren. If you are I "might" have to have an "accident" .

Haven't had the chance to do more than a handful of laps around Brands Indy in the MX-5 (not sure which one it was, I think it was 6-speed so whichever that is). Will need to buy the Williams before tonight then I guess, so that'll be a baptism of fire. I'm hoping my experience in F1 2010 and that I drive mainly the IndyCar anyway will put me in good stead.
As I haven't had much time with the new build or the Mazda, can someone recommend which one to take, the Cup or the Roadster. I want the one that handles better (unless they're both the same).

I think you'll find the Roadster suits you better Sharky but bear in mind there aren't many set-up options to play with if you find it doesn't.

Ok, thanks Pops. Not having many setup options suits me tbh as I can concentrate on the driving more.

Given the site maintenance scheduled for today, does it affect plans for the race at all?
I am loving these two cars!
Thanks Fabs

Hopefully not, but if there's a decent size update for me to download, I'll likely miss the Mazda race

How much practice does a World Cup driver need to still beat us all anyway?
