I did a blow by blow race report and thought that I had posted it here this morning but I guess that it floated off into cyberspace.

Anyway.  Thanks Tim for giving the place back.  As you have said, I was out of shape already when we touched and it looked to me that we would both have found it easier to take to the pit entrance.  On the basis that you had a better view I gratefully accepted 4th spot so thanks for that.

When it came to the race I was slow in the stadium section for some reason.  I had altered my ratios during practice to maximise my exit from the poxy chicanes and it left my wanting something a bit higher than second and a bit lower than third for the last two corners.

I made a good start and wedged myself between Ade and API into T1.  Sadly my lack of track time with other people did not prepare me for what the slipstream was going to do to me at the first chicane.  In my efforts to give the place back to Ade, I dropped to fourth.

Still say that it's a poxy track.  A chicane is an admission of failure on the part of any circuit designer.

For our use, it would be better if the track cutting limits were to be tightened up a bit.

Grats to API, Ade and TT

I hope I have the right version of Kyalami for next weeks race. Any chance of a new post with a DL link Mike ?

I'm sorry I haven't been around guys. Work has got me by the throat. I worked all day today and was in the city 3 days last week. 70 Kyalami is the track. I posted details for this Thursdays event.
