BTW, just checked in on the server, and it seems the fuel consumption is set to X 1
Is that coorect ? That's how it was set, but just started the server for the race & it's correct at 2x fuel now

Hi all,
would like to join UKPnG Season 4 but I'm unable to connect to the server.
Never player GTR2 online before.
Are there any secrets concerning adapting the game for online racing?
I think I'll miss today's race but maybe the next time.
Kind regards

I think here there's only a track to download, no skins, etc. Look for downloadable files in the first post (Track: Kyalami70). Welcome.

Off course I did and no problems offline.
But I cannot connect to the server although I installed the GTR2 Lobby fix.
Is there a manual or so out there how to modofy the game or should I try it with a complete fresh install?
Thanks for any hints.

I'm sorry, my man, I don't know enough about the things to instruct you or guess why that is. As Tom Cruise said in Days of Thunder: "I'm just a driver." I'm sure one of the admins will tell you exactly what needs to be done. Don't give up and take note we race a lot of sims here.

I was going suprisingly well considering how much the 'normal' Z06 seems to struggle here. Got into a great dice when I was caught by a Cobra and a gaggle of Ferrari's and then I lost all network connections Came out of the game and reset my network card and all is well again - hope my car didn't just plonk itself on the track as things were really quite busy when everything vanished at my end Sorry to anyone if they ran into a brick Corvette

Blew up a beautiful V12 Colombo (or was it Lampredi?) engine whilst wondering why I got a s/g penalty :'( Had a be-au-ti-ful fight with Mutram, Sandor, MJ Hotkeys and Legzy. Man, that was good! I think we would have done the old man proud fencing off the big blocks from the US Thanks for the (real) racin' !!

whoohoo, cracking result for me Made a booboo in qually by not switching to soft tyres and wondering why my car was slower with light fuel than full race ! But still blagged 7th or 8th on grid. Kept my nose clean in early laps and set about chasing Ade for first half of race whilst building a big gap to following pack. When Ade pitted i stayed out for a couple more laps, did a clean neat stop for just fuel as my tyres were in rude health and emerged 6th, which soon became 4th Then a couple of front runners made a hash of their stops and i capitalised finding myself soon in 1st place....woot! But the flying Navin emerged only 12 secs behind me and i assume on fresh rubber? as he gained rapidly and closed me down with about 4-5 laps remaining. He breezed past in my tow down the straight and rightly won the race. Finished 2nd in my lovely red Fezza that has served me well this season. Congrats to winner and Legzy too for his clever pody finish

Have you enabled the terrain patch? It tells you about it in the race announcement. Called PGPatcher.exe and you will find it in your main PnG folder.

The race was rubbish from any angle.
I bogged down on the grid and went from 3rd to next to last before T1.
I was just getting my race back together when, whilst trying to sort my pit stop in XD, I selected either 1st or reverse as I passed under the foot bridge after the pits. That threw away all that I had gained, and some! I had intended to do a short first stint but an early stop would have meant that I would be lapped early on.
So I decided to go as long as I could and stopped with about thirteen to go. The plan was for a minimum refuel and no tyres. Shame I didn't notice the damage that I had suffered earlier. I was at a stand still for about an hour and a half!
Then when I got under way, the darn thing tells me that I have a SnG for speeding in the pits, although it states clearly in the race announcement that this cannot happen!
Wish I hadn't wasted my time and to be honest, if it were not for the team thing I would give the rest of the season a miss.

Sorry I missed the race guys. My mother in law needed to go to the doctor and my wife got called to a meeting. I was about a second off Navin's pace so it sounds like I may have been in the hunt for a pody.
SpecialKS. It sounds like you need to apply the Terrain Patch as Clive has suggested.

Some courses do inflict a speed limit in the pit lane. P&G does not, but occasionally, the course itself does. It is wise to test this before each race (offline race weekend). I do so and remember to warn everyone when before the quali session. This isn't something I normally test while deciding on tracks to be used for the race.
