Moderator's Report

A win for Hristo leaves him 4 points ahead of Tom with Al H close behind.
No reported incidents so a nice easy one to moderate.

Moderator's Report

A win for Ronnie leaves him at the top of the table.
No reported incidents but see below for a couple of issues.
A reminder to everyone that you should not pit out until there are 30 minutes of qually time left - this is to allow everone to join the server and create a level playing field.

Server replay time: 0

In qualification Hannah pits out with 32 minutes left. No penalty (this time) but please remember you should not pit out until there are 30 minutes or less left on the clock. This is to allow all drivers time to join the server.

Server replay time: 0h08m11s

Maddog takes a reset but does not subsequently take the mandatory stop and go nor attempts to. The rules are unequivocal on this;
"any driver taking more then ONE Shift-R OR failing to take a Stop & Go will be disqualified from the race result"

Hence there is a mandatory race disqualification.

Greetings all and thx for a fun and exciting race yesterday. It was a little hectic for me to register and get a place in the race before start but it worked great. Thx Vosblod for that Smiley
It was a close and fun race ,a tight chase all through the race .Made some errors but was lucky to finish 4th. Great race from all and nice behavior on track. Congratulations to podium finishers .
The main thing for me is to learn more of this great sim and meet nice people that share the passion. You seem like a fine group and i appreciate that you accept a newcomer like me.
See you on track , take care all.

My start from P3 was poor , I couldnt get the Brabby off the line and lost a lot of ground up to T1. then found the handling on race fuel was iffy so drove a very careful few laps till I got the hang of things which dropped me further back , team mate Mike was snapping at my heels and was half expecting him to draft past on the long straight .

From Lap 4 through 18 I found myself chasing Maddog Martin who was warping all over the track , sometimes dissapearing completely then bursting back into view in front of me, I didn't dare risk any kind of overtake so decided to hang back for a while and see what developed , eventually he had a polo "moment" and I was able to overtake and set off on a clear track with Martin in pursuit . Unfortunately at the same time we came up to lap Hannah , there was some confusion about which line she was taking into the Peralta corner , Martin I think tried to take advantage but 3 abreast into this corner was really asking for it and sure enough I got it .

After the airobatics display finished I was suprised to find myself still intact , the car was well and I could at last find my rythm, eventually catching up for P3 , quite suprised at the result cos I thought this race series was Pro damage and was expecting to have to S/R and P.I.  Shocked

Grats to Ronnie (alien in the making ? ) salutations to Tony for losing the podium ont last lap and escpecially to Snowy R.I.P. little chap  :'(

Sorry been calling Martin Mike  Roll Eyes

Now amended  Wink

Mike would be a rather unsuitable choice for a christian name and surname dont you think  Grin

Just watched the server replay through tears of laughter at the on track antics. I thought I had a rough time through some of the traffic but Martin, Bernie and Toni (your comment above is far too polite) seem to have had a worse time than me. Looking forward to seeing everyone next time out.

All results now uploaded and replays in the usual place. From an initial review it looks like Maddog might be a very Mad Dog, as failing to take a Stop and Go after as Shift R gets a Disqualification. Also, was someone a bit naughty in their Privates by getting a sneaky lap in before 30 minutes to go? Ah well moderation in due course...

My race was mediocre. I expected to be the Works runt and a severe lack of practice didn't help. Got 8th by no spins/attrition.

Looking at these times it was a good one to miss. I've never bettered 2 mins at Mexico - hate the track.

Well done all.

That lasted for a short while but then Tim decided to give me the place which was awfully kind of him.

You were reeling me in by that point so as you were my teamie I thought I'd just yeild in the name of team points - short of a mass pileup among the front runners my own chances of a decent haul were pretty slim  Smiley

Even slimmer after I somehow hit the armco in the Hairpin from my normal braking point.....  Roll Eyes

good racing, simply didnt have time to do any practise but i was a confident with Cooper.

Start was poor and someones Honda went by, few laps later catch up John Robert and then Al Heller Brabham who surrender with little fight, good racing. My pace was suprise to me but setup/car combination was good this time.

grats Hristo for win with excellent honda speed!

See you at next one. Smiley

Hello Jhalli,

Would you please send me your set up. I am in privateers and was driving a Cooper as well.

My race was in the abyss and I am interested in what you ran.

Thank you,

I think in order to make Shift-R allowable the race must be run as Intermediate, not Pro, which has "advanced" damage model instead of "realistic".
