Sorry MJ, calling time for tonight after best part of an hour. You'll learn the track after about two laps, quite straight forward. Might take a bit longer to get your times down though Undecided

I've done 1:25.7 in race trim so far... but you should know that I'll make 20secs+ on you in the pitstops, so you need to be doing 25.1's to have a chance  Kiss

Cool little track, just enough turns to make the racing interesting, without too much learning to be done
(You got yer ears on Clive?)  Smiley into the low 24's with the Aussie Mustang, Stig getting into high 23's in Ferri !

I've got a problem with the track, it causes P&G to crash on start up. If I remove it, P&G runs OK. I've tried the download from here & also the download from NoGrip and the same thing happens with both. Any ideas?

Edit: OK solved it, I had the non P&G version of the track installed as well & it was causing a clash!

24.2 here in the z06 but the XD tyre display is like a rainbow.

Any sign of a pit lane speed trap? Or perhaps we have to weave down the pit lane avoiding stray mechanics and people on bikes?

Did half a dozen laps tonight, off-line.  It's a track that I liked in GPL and it feels much the same in PnG.

After some laps on the Z06 (non white) I'm on the 24 high with full tank. When the car starts to be a bit more light I can manage some 24 mid-low at the end of the stint I guess.
As usual it's probably not needed changing the tyres, but I guess that the pit stop with such a narrow pit lane, will be a good challenge if there are some cars in it.

Didn't practiced in quali fuel, so we will see tomorrow what I will able to do. Cu for the race. Bye bye Smiley

Yeah, just tested myself in an offline race (read = 1 lap & pit) entered pits as quick as possible... it does force a limit on you (35mph) but I was above that at entry & so it rightly awarded me a stop n go for speeding Grin

p.s. it's quite hard to get above 60mph by pit entry following the last bend anyway

I'm so sorry about ruining your race, Geoffers. Sad I completely missed my brake mark. Sorry. Embarrassed

I'll submit an incident report as the race ends.

Pants event for me. Had no time for practise before the event, only having done about 6 laps prior to tonights sessions.

Tried taking the Mustang but dont enjoy driving any of the cars in my alloted group and dont feel there is a 'driveable/race-able' one for mortals like myself who manage to get a couple of good results to get promoted.  Sad Part of the allure of this season for me was being able to take a regular car i enjoyed driving rather than being forced into one i dont. This race quickly turned into a slow-hotlapping contest by myself as i couldnt race anyone, just haul the barge around the track for lap after lap. So i parked up and left the circuit as couldnt face another 30laps of the same.  Tongue

Nice track and sure the rest of you had some fun  Smiley

Comedy of errors for me, might have been on for a pod, or top 6 at least, was flying 1st couple of laps, passed
people, was catching Manteos when I got a pit in blue light! I had forgotten to fill up after qual... taz

Took my extra stop, and then set about trying to unlap myself, was doing ok until I got a wheel up the inside
of the fast right onto the straight and rolled..... then was doing ok (again) and was watching gaps in display
forgot to brake for next to last and smacked into the wall big stylie... bent steering a bit, but was drivable
finally caught Alex, might have caught Navin if I hadn't had offs. ah well was fun race all the same.
Results delayed because EifelBlitz was know to the database as "SpecialKS" a lightweight breakfast cereal?
Anyway, that's what it decided to call you  Smiley

EDIT: Not sure which of the many forums to post this in so....
Had trouble inporting results txt files. The file was correct on the server, but when trying to upload from
within the .zip on replay server it complained about the name not matching. I copied the files manually
to my PC and imported them from there, but may be a naming issue? too long now it's simracing.org etc etc?

What a great little track this was. Lots of fun Cheesy. Had a very good start and then had a tons of fun battling with Mike. We were so close in speed we couldn't shake each other. Interesting battle as Mike was better in some areas and I in others. We kept slowing each other down by getting side by side and raced very hard but had no contact at all Grin. Then I got to my pit stall and totally screwed up by accidentally hitting the Enter key before I set my fuel load Embarrassed. Lucky I had pitting with 1 lap left in the tank so i was able to go around again and get fueled up. I came out in 10th place and was well aware that a 9th place finish would still allow me back into the Orange Group of cars so that was my goal. It came to me easy as an unlucky Hotkeys seemed to have an engine blow up Sad. After that I just cruised the rest of the way. Grats to Manteos for his well deserved 1st place. Also grats to Mike for 2nd and Clive for a solid 3rd place podium. Great fun fellas Grin.
