There are no Super GT races this week at Pils. They will be back next week on server 2.
There will be GT2s on Server 3 this week if you want to try out any potential GT2s.
I have just obtained permission from the team that created the Super GT 500 mod. I still have not heard back from the team that created the LMP cars.
I now plan on using Super GT 500 one Sunday and GT2s the next, this is of course dependant on the outcome of the current GTR Evo/GTR2 poll.
I will try to organise a test race on an official track with the super GT 500s and then hold another poll on whether or not we want to use them.
I will look further into obtain permission for the LMP2s as well.

what GT2's are you intending to use H@L? The NAGP set? Cool if so. Got no interest in downloading the SGT500 mod, especially after reading a few saying how easy/dumbed down it is to drive

At this stage I think it is best to try to make our own GT2 pack more like the ones at NAGP and GTWeb by adding some more cars and finding updates for existing cars if they our out there. I see that a few have been mentioned here already I have not tried any yet but, I will.

how easy/dumbed down it is to drive Can't agree with that. If I understand right, these cars have significant aero "improvements" hence they have more grip and less hp than GT1 cars which all in all it accurately recreates (that wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong). If you see how fast berger and busi are in them I wonder if you would still think they were "easy" Also the Mclaren is far from easy. Don't get me wrong, I'm keener on LMP's than SGT but both have some real plusses. Only one way to find out and good on H@l for giving them all a go.

I would say that I'm most interested in the SGT's. I certainly think I'd like to try it before writing it off anyway

MJ pointed out that the model and cockpit for the Aston in the SuperGT500 mod look a little like the ones from GTR Evo. According to the readme for the SuperGT500 mod the model and cockpit are taken from (with permission) the WSGT mod. According to the WSGT mod readme, the models are cockpit have been made from scratch by the team. Information I found here: http://www.virtualr.net/tag/aston-martin/shows that the Aston cockpit used in the SuperGT500 mod is an update made from scratch by the team. We do not have the cockpit update on our own UKGTR Aston yet so I will see if I can add that and any other updates we may be missing for it.

H@L, the Aston models are two different ones so copying the cockpit to the other may not be quite so easy. Our one i think is from Edog. The WSGT one seems to have more rounded body when looking externally.

Thanks for the info. I thought are one was from the WSGT originally. I could be wrong, I will check. The models used in the SuperGT mod are all tweaked from standard.
