Ta Tim. To answer your question.....yes, I intend resuming my career at UKGPL as soon as I can. But currently on wireless internet and laptop.....not really suitable hardware for online racing. All in good time.
I was thinking of doing a tech course and getting a qualification in motorsport. However, the more I see of corporate run/fucked-up motorsport, the less I want to be involved.
Anyway, you will see me back behind the wheel in due course.....when I hung up my helmet, the hook fell off the wall.....hahahahaha.
Later lads,
Geoff.

Ps: Not looking good guys.......Australia is 5/384, Hussey on 147 and Haddin on 111
Strauss is rain dancing again........lol

I knew he was only back to give us Poms a sledging over the Ashes Cheesy Great to hear from you Geoff - we still have your seat waiting over at Clark-Hill HQ though you'll have to dust off the cobwebs yourself Wink Look forward to seeing you back on track.

Thanks Al, it's good to be able to regain contact with my Pommie mates. Watched the replay of the sportscar prac race Al. You seemed to be the only sportscar driver in the field that I could see. The setup was good, and it didn't step out of line anywhere that I could see. To worry Hristo out of the lead and then withstand the pressure from Stefan and Juha for so many laps showed great driving maturity. Juha's .......ahem..... passing attempt that put you off track was to put it mildly, well, rubbish. Seems lots of guys are trying to drive 'em like a GP car, and I doubt they will put up with that for too long.
Had a quick blast around Spa in the 2d yesterday. 190mph before Masta, with 3-400rpm left on the tacho was pretty impressive, though I must say judging the braking in these brutes is going to be an experience for a little while. Anyway it's Sunday afternoon here, and I'm working again tonight......so I might trip off back to bed for a while. I'll jump on IGOR when I get home, and see who's around.
Cheers for now
Geoff.

Oh, and the Poms just took over the the lead......gonna be a top 5th day.     Grin

Crikey Geoff! thought you'd forgotten about us!  Grin

I think I have the replay of my race but it's fairly midfield due to car choice so may not have the antics from up front  Smiley

If it was run on T7 (Can't remember if it was or not) then the server replay may still be sitting around - I'll have a look when I get home if I have time.

You planning on re-joining us then?  Wink

Yes Tim, rest assured I will be back....can't pinpoint when as yet, but "I shall return"..... Cheesy
