Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here, 2.1 patch from here and enable terrain patch.
(4) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of every-one's connection will be reduced.
(5) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race.

It's a really tight points battle. 4 points seperate the 2nd through 5th. I am currently leading (not by much), but you never know if I need to work in the city so I'm not counting my chickens yet. Even with the drops there's only 1 point seperating Legzy and Lorenzo for 2nd place. Keep the gloves up guys.

After tooling around looking for holes in this track I can say with confidence the chicanes somewhat neuter this track. This is part of what I wanted to point out as differences between old and new tracks. The new tracks are so much safer, but less exciting in my opinion. Still, I think we should get some mighty interesting racing. I wonder if drivers will take the same car as last week? I know I'll be changing my weapon.

Sadly I shall miss this one, as I'm told that we need to go with my daughter to a ruddy craft fare in York!

What joy!  Roll Eyes

Track is indeed naff comapred to the original, so far am a second faster in 275 than the AATC, so may be
using 275. Funny, As I drove into the track with my trailer I saw a very rusty old motorhome parked behind
the pits, it said "ALex vV" on the side of it. I guess it must have been sat there for at least 40 years.  Shocked

You are pushing against an open door here Mike.  I can't stand these chicane infested, emasculated, bounce over the curbs modern tracks.  70s all the way for me.

The current track design thinking seems to be build a "technical" track to sort out the men from the boys.  Huh  Entertainment - not sport which we like, and no thought to making racing enjoyable.  Roll Eyes  I'm OK on long fast bends and not to bad on hairpins but these chicanes etc I'm carp.  hammer hammer hammer ban

The chicanes are terrible to drive with these american monsters.

No. I have not got to it yet. I think I'll take a drive now. Not much is going on today in the states considering it is Thanksgiving.

Absolute rubbish race from me.  Angry  Wasn't enjoying it at all.

First sorry to Alex who I must have bumped at least 5 times, I was really struggling to get the car to stop. I must have something set wrong, because everyone seemed much later on the brakes than me.

I decided to come in and pit earlier than I planned then discovered that the pitcrew only fill the car to the amount you have preset, not put that amount in!  Angry. Couldn't face going around & doing another stop so called it a night.

Cya next week at bumpy Oulton.

Had some really close, clean and fun racing in the first 7-8 laps of the race. Unfortunately I then lost eye-contact with the cars in fornt of for the rest of the race.

Congrats to the Podium, great driving !

I won't be able to join for the season final next thursday :'( :'( but thx for a great season guys  Grin

I sure hope Clive and Lorenzo will manage to bring the team trophy to its rightfull owners  Wink

np Geoffers. Actually was quite enjoying the battle. Hope that I left you enough racing room. Had to evade also once or twice.
(btw you only hit me twice  Wink )

Quite a challenge, this Chicani Albi. Guess you made your point Mike, old circuit configurations are much more fun.

Race was much more fun than I expected with the layout. Had several duels with people before and
After stops. |Is galling to have someone 20 secs behind when you pit, and find them 20 secs in front
when you come out, I really have to figure how people do these lightning fast stops, I have XD but
I have no option to set what happens at the stop. (that I can see)

There is something off about the LM2/server/something else The last couple of results I have done. including
this one, the files are corrupt as in they contain a line saying filename notmatched. I have to copy and paste
the race and qual.txt file contents into local notepad and then rename them correctly, as it shortens the name,
and then import into LM2. I can do it, but it is becoming a pain. Any server gods got a clue? Picnic? Dave?

I don't know if you have already the last version Matt. If not, download it: http://www.vitumo.de/files/XD/XD.zip

Then, when you are on track, push the key "\" (near the 1), and you will see another screen different by the tyre wear and temperatures similar to the pit list. You can modify it with the keyboard arrows, going up down, and left-right to change the tyre compound or put the options "no change". By default, the pit list looks like the list that appears when you stop at the pit, so by default, you will see that is setted on the tyre compound you're currently using, and the fuel shows the liters that you setted for the pit directly in the garage on your setup (usually I do it before to start the race).
You can even choose to NOT repair the car damage during the race, always using the arrows... but you know, do it on the straight!!!
When you turn off the engine, it's enough to push Enter, and your pit will start immediately as you setted on your xd. Give it a check 3-4 laps before the pit to avoid bad surprises.
Really grats to Mike for his victory, tomorrow I'll make a race report. Bye all!
