Very exciting news for me, these cars should be fabulous for racing. The ETCC mod for F1 CC has been my favorite mod of any kind to date.
So many games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See the news here...

Interesting, I'd love to watch WTCC, mostly coz Zanardi drives in it, but like most things, its a case of paying about 30 quid for a TV package when the only thing that intersts me is about 4 hours of motorsport that isn't on Terrestrial.

Shark'll make a B-line for the Honduhs then and I'll be forced to drive a BMW. Cheesy

Paritcularly interesting in that it signifies SimBin's ties to the FIA itself and not just the SRO.

I notice that Eurosport will be broadcasting WTCC in HDTV this season too and that Silverstone has been dropped for the much better Brands Hatch.

Yep, can guarantee you wont get me out of the Hondus when the game is released!

Got a BTCC dvd if anyone wants it, it's ace! Only onboard shots and some 'chatter' from Murray Walker, hehe! Huge of course, but very nice Smiley

World touring- does that mean I get to drive an Alfa?

Fingers crossed they properly impliment weight handicaps- that'll be awesome for close racing.

Do you know where they are showing this? Didn't think Eurosport were having a HD channel on Sky

Have a look at the PDF file available on Simbin.se. It has all the details of the WTCC this year including the TV stuff.

Sadly that only says it will all be produced in HD. Couldn't see who will get a HD feed. Can't see them supplying Sky Sports HD Wink

Eurosport were using an HD feed last year but the end user broadcast was in normal definition.
