Well the bodnar devices are pretty generic, have a look at the bu0836x, you can wire your speed 7's to it easily.

I've not tried speed 7's Ken so can't answer your question, I think you could modify them to use a load cell from looking at them. Todd will sell the load cells on their own.

I didn't know you could use a bodnar cable with speed 7s?

Sorry, I wasn't very clear was I. I meant I have a Bodnar cable for my G25 pedals. So would a set of G25 pedals with a Bodnar cable and a load cell be better than my Speed 7's? But as Gary says, you would really need to try them and compare.

That is a good suggestion to buy a load cell fom Todd and modify the BRD's. Any idea how much he would be asking for the load cell on it's own?

Load cells, Speed 7s...  I'm beginning to feel very inadequate on the pedal front.  Roll Eyes

It's always worth looking at the DIY CST option.  Todd sells the build guide for $12 and will supply parts of you need them but it's designed to be built by relative novices.  If you're handy with a saw and a soldering iron you should be able to build something very nice without destroying what you already have.

That's what I'm looking to do.
