Don't worry Nigel, we have all done the "qually fuel" dance,  it usually ends with a lot of stamping of feet and swearing!!

I have got into the habit of ALWAYS going to the setup screen before joining the grid, just to check that I have actually selected my race setup.

In fact I often do all my qually on race fuel, unless the circuit is one like Monaco where a good grid position is vital to avoid being boxed up behind someone for many laps.

Just found out I had already switched to race fuel and a 'guesstimate' setup, then decided to do a quick lap at end of qually with less fuel. So my setup said 37 lap fuel, but was lying to me. The good side is it was handling really great  Smiley
I blame the computer- the organic one.
BTW if I qually on race fuel I'd be 10 secs behind.

Race fuel doesn't really make that much of a difference and the car is actually a lot easier to handle usually, because it simply reacts slower to your actions and is thus more predictable. The difference in lap times is not higher than 1-2 seconds on most tracks, sometimes even less.

I was surprised to find these '66's behaved, exactly as Hristo describes at Thruxton, albeit briefly.  Sad

Hi guys,

did the track fix by Ginetto work?
What I have read so far it looks like it didn`t.

What fix version did you use (name?)

How many drivers raced? More than 10?

I am asking, because I would like to release the fix to public @ SRMZ.

Cheers

It didn't work, we had 4 or 5 people retire due to screen freeze. We were not too many drivers, just over 10. The fix I used has this filename "thruxton_GINFIX_1027.7z", so I guess version 1027?
