My usual dire GTR2 performance here. Was having to over drive to hold pace and started making lots of small errors which grew bigger culminating with a visit to the wall and a puncture. Didn't have the heart to limp round to pit so esc'd out.

Doubt I'll be doing much more GTR2 racing as I find it so frustrating. Don't like the SGTs at all and I'm not really keen on the faster Evo classes either. Looks like finding something else to do on Sundays  Sad

Had a great race. First part climbing up through the field, helped with the powerful Panoz but the track made it pretty difficult!

I kept tyres in the pits cause I thought others were doing so as well, but they changed and I was in the lead but losing time. Really sad to make that mistake at the Corkscrew which cost me the lead and down to 3rd, defending from API and Lazlow would have been a challenge Sad then escaped cause of a phone call, not too much left to do in the remaining 2-3 laps Tongue

PS: Just as an information, Jamera you were lagging a LOT when I was behind, impossible to race with you at that point really Shocked

i noticed Jamera was lagging a lot at the start... not that i kept up with him for long enough for it to matter..

All i can say about my race was that i made it to the finish, albeit 4 laps down... i hope i wasnt to hard for people to lap - i tried my best to keep it clean.
One small observation about my race - i ran the first stint on soft tyres, the second on mediums - the car felt much more composed on the mediums, and i made fewer mistakes in that second stint... also, went 1 sec/lap faster in the race than in qual! In all, i dont think that went too badly.

Whichever Piggy GT was in left my F430 for dead accelerating up the hills, I was following with mouth hanging open
could catch a bit in the turns, and maybe top speed was similar, but low speed acceleration was much faster.

Well done Blito Smiley

Great to be back in the F430 & I think it's finally back to a more level pace with the rest of the cars (except the 997 & Panoz which are still too fast whistling & the RSR that is still a little off pace).

Good tactical battle going on at the front & TT & me would have had the same (to tyre change or not to tyre change, that is the question), but he blew his pitstop, forgetting to not change tyres... unlucky mate lol lol lol & instead he came out the pits behind me & I could cruise on home to 4th Kiss

Good one all, see you all next week at.... ? Wink

Fun race as always with you guys Smiley But I had to start way back on the grid after I had to quit and rejoin cause of the FFB went dead on my. I never found the key to work for the speedlimiter after my quick leave and enter thing either... hope I didn't cause any problems for you guys behind me  Embarrassed Race was fun, made a couple of misstakes in the race and felt it better to leave room for the drivers catching up on my. When I had Legzy in my rear view mirror at the last 10 laps and had to let him pass (He was on 5'th and I was on 10'th). So after Legzy's pass I stayed close to him for the rest of the race and found it not to hard really  Shocked  I had some weird stats showing up on the pitboard  Huh Sometimes Jamera was one lap behind... then suddenly he was in front of me on the board didn't know how to approach him in the race (and yes he lagged for me as well) Besides that I had a fun  Grin

It was the standard 996RSR Matt. I was concentrating on exit speed which left me woefully slow into the slower corners even for me. Was conscious of you having to throw the anchors out to avoid me a couple of times as you closed in, especially at the final turn. I was quicker over a lap in the F360 but even more prone to errors, hence my choice.

Replay and provisional results posted

LapChart

Stoopid game, for some reason the Ignition off didn't work for me, apologies to all those stupid chat messages as I tried every key / button to kill the damn thing so I could get some fuel. Eventually the button I thought it was worked (at least 3rd if not 4th or 5th attempt worked) Sadly an unexpectedly good result was well and truly dashed. The Seat was much more competitive than I thought it would be as the track seems kind on tyre wear. However the Seat just seems to have no brakes, must brake so much earlier than in the 997 and even earlier than the M3. Did 2 stints at the end on softs hoping to get a fastest lap but Lazlow beat anything I was ever going to do.

hammer Was berating meself endlessly 'cause of it. Tongue
After an inital small mistake Legzy was through and while following him closely botched an exit to s/f straight. Apex had a misfortune to be behind me and turned me around - my mistake entirely.  Sad Was driving then around 9th place until pitstop and instead of a quick one to leapfrog Legzy I was left 15 sec behind. Lips Sealed I count this as a success anyways as it looked much worse from the first laps on.

Well done Blito, just make sure you don't make any erratic moves and you'll do great. Smiley Nice racing with Legzy, Spanner, Apex and Nsfast - I'm sure there were others but I lost track of them all - good to have drivers around that we can drive closely. Hope Jamera sorts the connection and that MJ can be let to race next time. Were you a bad boy, MJ? Tongue

Rather fun after all, was a bit worried before hand as i wasnt getting the hang of the 997 at all, felt the front was sliding too much and was wearing too much. Even tried running meds on the front and putting in my fastest lap in practise in but felt it made the front end worse making you compensate with a lairy rear.
was reasonbly comfortable early on just watching TT legz and Apex in front but ended up going too wide through turn 1 and must have got on the sand as i ended up going straight across the track and into the wall. Rejoined with GT and Matt which was pretty good. I did seem to faster along the straight bits, thoug i was running 10 wing so ended up having to make passes into the corkscrew which wasnt the best as i had a good exit from the previos Lefthander. Just tried to keep my head down a try and make as much progress up the field wih some good racing with Apex, TT and nsfast.

Not sure what happend at the start, i guess the server had been set to rolling? Never used that starting procedure before. What happend at the front, was there a pace car? Because of this meant we gain a lap or so and with a few laps to go was panicing i wasnt goingto make it, all this as i'd just caught nsfast so on the second to last lap eased off a bit then realised i had enough for the final lap loosing the chance to have a go and crossed the line with 0.6L left!

Sorry guilty as charged, had been messing around and hadn't noticed this setting was wrong  Embarrassed There was no pace car so apart from some messages and the cars already rolling the start happened much the same as normal with Lazlow running a pace lap.

I presume GeForce's Porka being shown as G2 is just a mapping mistake?

Luckily those things are easily fixed. Grin I only spotted it 'cause I'm ploughing through possible gotchas in my cunning plan to rework the classification system...
