Since there is zip all happening here this week, I suggest that anyone who wants to get their PnG fix should try the Gamers-Crib sprint races on Tuesday:-

And they race every week too!

There's a GTL race this week. Come out and play.
I'm preparing for the next P&G championship.

Hi Mike,

I don't do GTL!

It isn't on my PC and there is no room to put it there either.

So, no amount of coercion or blackmail is going to see me taking up GTL.  I'm more likely to do the odd GTR2 race but as they are on Sundays that is almost impossible.  Miss Marple will not allow it.

Can we please have our weekly PnG races back?

Clive

What's up to the weekly P&G race?!?! Do you need a flamer to fight against the Power to restore it  Grin Grin?!?

I will miss my UK P&G Thursdays... and if the champ start on the 13th Jan, I will miss all the races with the alternate weeks  Angry Angry Angry

Hi Manteos,

I have said, since this two week thing was first mentioned, that UKPnG and VDA should make sure that they use different Thursdays so that the two leagues can amalgamate their entries.

I still think you could run both GTL & P&G races on the same night. Would it be a problem to start a little earlier, say 8pm, with a short race (25-30 mins), then a longer race (45-60 mins) starting at 8.45-9pm. Then alternate the long & short races between the 2 sims each week.

The decision to move to alternate weeks is costing me two races a fortnight Sad

It also means that we have no racing here on prime nights Monday or Tuesday, so I'm having to look else where to fill a slot.

Speaking of which, what sort of PnG series is VDA running Manteos?

I think we still need an overall review here of what is run on what night.

Regards GTL and PnG, Tony already has his seasons planned and in place, so Im guessing changing these events now would create a great deal of unnecessary work. As for PnG, I bet money that as soon as V3 is released we're going to see over demand on grids and certainly a need for more than one event per fortnight. Drivers will innevitably go elsewhere as is already happening. The current arrangement then doesn't make sense to me  Huh

Speaking of which, what sort of PnG series is VDA running Manteos?

Chris, we' re actually running on alternate Thursdays the champ: "ROTW P&G World Tour"

It's a champ in which there are a lot of Italian beta testers of P&G 2.1 physics and some other non beta-testers (like me and some VDA mates Tongue). We will race in these dates:
13/01/11
27/01/11
10/02/11
24/02/11
10/03/11
24/03/11
07/04/11
21/04/11
05/05/11

I have to say that I don't know if some other VDA mates will be able to join UKP&G races 'til the Italian champs will be finished (end of April - start of May), so it's almost useless that you choose the dates looking at this calendar.
By my side, you know that I always like to race here, and if the dates will match the ROTW calendar I will join all your races in the other weeks, but it's obvious that I can't ask to you to prepare a calendar that match my other champ, with the uncertainty of knowing if some other VDA mates can follow me here to enlarge the field.
So, every decision you will take for the dates, I guess it's better if not depends on VDA "commitments".
Having said that, I thank Clive for thinking to the VDA, but as I said I can't assure nothing for the other guys. As you saw, even the T7 Team guys (especially Marco Casadei and Giuseppe Reali) that are engaged like us in the ROTW champ, haven't joined the Season 4 since some races, cause the ROTW champ needs a load of hard training to be competitive at "high level".
By my side I have no matters in joining UKP&G events even with not so much training, as I've done in this season, cause it's better to be prepared at the same level to have some duels & fun on track, and many of you don't have the time for training.
The trouble is that the Italian are an herd of Hotlappers  Grin Grin Grin

So, to conclude my thinking, every decision you will take, will be good for me. I won't abandon you in any case, and be sure that the other VDA & T7 guys will restart to join UKP&G champ when the Italian champs will be finished.
Bye bye!

Wonder what cars we will have for Reims?

I reckon that the PnG schedule is on drip feed just so that nobody has to run a practice server!  whistling

I've got the Daytona and 275 GTB/c within about .02 of a sec - and really hope it's not going to be a GT40 spec race. They really don't like that right hander over the brow!  Grin
Having suprising fun in the mid-field V8's and GT's here so as long as the choices are balanced then it's all good with me  angel
