Being able to practice for this one, I'm looking forward to it much more than race two .... that mess can't fade from my memory fast enough!

Hi Adam is it 52 as the poster says or 62 laps? Just wondering as getting the Ford Barge Mustang through the corkscrew that many times will need a lot of practice! So far my laptime (after a few tryout laps) is 1:45.9 got told off twice for cutting the track at the corkscrew...
Cheers
Colin

The Corvettes will do 62 laps, the Mustangs will do far fewer, probably around 50. (Unless all the Corvettes crash out; happened to me once in a EuroGPLeMans race where all the F1 and F2 cars crashed and three of us in F3 ended up doing the full race distance in something like 35% more time that was scheduled!)

1m23s in the Corvette's the best I can muster so far (full fuel) - feels pretty damned hard in the Corvette!

this is my least favourite track in iRacing Not my favourite either but at least it's better than Infinion. The Cork Screw is awesome as a viewing spectacle but it just never seems right whatever line I take, at whatever speed, in whatever car when I drive it If it's hard in the Corvette it'll be almost impossible in the Mustang.

As long as you get a full rotation each time you come down it you should be fine ... it's when you only manage a half rotation or one and a half that it gets tricky

I hit a low 1:40 after 3 timed laps - so I'd hope to be a similar pace to Pops. (Pace and Pops? DOES NOT COMPUTE! )
