Problems connecting to the Lobby?  Download this:

All members welcome

Practice 1:20:00(10 mins)
Qual 2:20:10(20 mins)
Race:20:30(60 mins)note: no warmup!

Cars allowed: any GT3 from the UKGTR Physics Pack v2.13.0.0
Weather: Dry.
Track: Zolder (download here)
Race Start Time: 14.00
Fuel consumption: x2

Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel and/or change at least two tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

Server: simracing.org.uk GT3
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) Standings and schedule can be found on the championship standings page
(3) You will not be able to join the server without the skin and ballast pack and track pack (see links above).
(4) Drivers may only change car once in the season without penalty.
(5) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(6) Please use the Driver Details page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(7) Note that the track is relatively heavy on frame rates, so if necessary turn your shadows and other graphical settings down to ensure that you get a decent number of FPS.

I just want to warn people installing this track as the installer tries to uninstall crystal Palace from PnG first by running D/PnG2/uninstall_crystalpalace.exe

I didn't think we were going to run GT3s next season  Huh

If we do, at least I'll have a decent porka to drive around in which will do wonders for my attendance  Smiley

Its just a fun race GT. Think they wanted to try and give all classes a runout before starting the season proper.

ok, practising hard for this (when really i should be practising hard for my ukgpl event in 10 minutes time...)
managed to get a Z3 round in just under 1:40... just where do you guys think a "journeyman" racer like me should be lapping? can i relax at 1:40 or should i be able to find more with a hotter setup?

Looking at the only lap record set here before (GTC's 1:34 - see top of the thread), I'd say your GT3 time should be fine & you should get quicker by Sunday Wink.

Just had a dozen laps here in the porka and got down to 39.6. Surprising as I'm usually very slow in these heavy braking tracks with nasty chicanes. Was having some strange in-car flashes with the Nissan, so gave up on that after a couple of outlaps.

Fingers crossed I can make the race.

Couple of us on the server... Smiley

1:39.2 in the little Lotus... She's a little feisty, but you've just got to let her know who's the boss Cool     (yes, that's right, it's not me Embarrassed Grin)

p.s. I've always liked Zolder, I'm surprised that it gets so little track time here across all our sims Huh

i`ve peaked out at 38.25 in the 911.. mostly my laps are in the 1:39.5 area and i`m feeling very comfortable at that pace. Also got the Viper and Z3 doing similar speeds . The one car i cant seem to master here is the Nissan - i cant see the apex of the corners thanks to the chunky A-pillars and roll cage!

Well done Blito. Load some time-trial files and see if you can keep the pace leveled. Looking forward to the race.

Think last night i was in the 38's in the nissan. Its actually the only car i can drive in this class. Cant drive the porsche though i'd imagine its probably close to how it handles in real life. Find the front end doesnt want to grip, just slides!
