well, i can add a 1:25.8 (f430) and a 1:26.0 (f360) AND a 1:26.2(996 rs) all on a more-or-less default setup... must say i quite like this circuit even though i`ve never even heard of it before!

Going against any kind of faint realism, the track probably doesnt exist anymore.

Let me throw down the gauntlet here... 1:26 after my first little session. H@L's concentrating on putting together the season ahead together & has trusted me on this one. I've only raced here once, but it was cracking. Looking at the results from that PnG race, no particular 'type' of car (ie muscle cars) had a significant advantage, which led to some great racing For anyone worried about learning the track (I doubt more than a couple will have even heard of it), I did it by starting at the back of an AI grid and following them. When in race session, the track has quite a good visible "dirty race line" to follow too. It all helps

I did it again last night when i tried the track out last night. I start my first timed lap but didnt recognise any of the track or scenery from the lap before. Thought maybe the timing was out or the track went on forever.

it is a fun race - i find it useful to know what pace people are lapping up front. Itnjust helps with my race preparation. BTW Spanner , this is a real track and is continual use .... http://www.midamericamotorplex.com/2006/default.asp

well Mr raceline i think at that sort of pace you should have plenty of company - i`m in the 26`s in pretty much every car and suspect a few others will be too.....

1.23's for both the 997 and the F430. 50L of fuel for both but the 997 had soft fronts on.

With it being so flat with no real scenery and no barriers i find it difficult to get into a rythym and end up basically aiming at the the curbs and end up being aggressive. Doesnt seem to punish to much either. The porsche is magic round here but only tried 997, will try 996 to see how it compares.
