26.0 for me in the 997 cup car but only did about half hour practise. Boring flat track but challenging as well.

Many thanks to both Tudor and Jon for their donations of setups for the 997. Think that I have settled on Jon's latest offering, which has allowed me to sneak into the 24s in qually mode. Crossing fingers and touching wood it still looks as though I might make this one. So you can relax TT, I will have punted Legzy off long before you see him.

Lol, Clive, usage of the "will have -ed" tense always scared the crap outta me in school. But I get you and I will fight you for the privilege of it!

LOL Your English teacher must have been a real piece of work to bring on that sort of terror after so long! I shall not be able to post anything now, for fear of giving you nightmares about English grammar lessons. @Chris How come one of my AI is called Legzy? I have been practicing on him and he hasn’t finished a race yet with both brake lights working.

When you skin a car, you normally list yourself & teammates as the possible AI drivers of that car. So you must have been racing against a Team Oldie skinned car. It's a feature I like, but I've never 'encouraged' Jonzo off the track while practising

AARRGGHH. Was having a great race close battling with Legzy, TT and MJ until I pitted only to find some other car in my box. Didn't have enough fuel to go round again, so burnt it on the straight That's 2 nights in a row my race has been ruined in the pits. I HATE PITSTOPS

cracking race that, shame it all went wrong for me after a bad pit call Had only done half hour praccy prior to the event but cracked in some quick laps in qually to grab 4th on the grid At the start i lost two places thanks to my indecisive teamie TT on the s/f line but then had great fun for about 40minutes battling with the top 5 throughout. Gradually they all pitted and found myself out front with still plenty of fuel so carried on.But i should have stopped earlier as worn tyres were costing me 1 sec a lap. At my stop i thought i would need something clever so just took new front tyres as rears were only on 13 wear. All went okay with the stop and i rejoined 4th with legz and co about 5 secs ahead and thinking i had 20 laps to chase them back down again. Alas, my tactical choice of just new front tyres was a complete disaster..the car turned into an oversteering mess that just could not stop itself spinning :'( 3 quick spins in first few laps after the pitstop dropped me to 8th. It just became undriveable so i quit as nothing left of race to do anything about positions. Very frustrating after such a great battle in top 5. Apologies to any of the viper drivers i had love taps with. I had so much more mid corner speed and traction that it was impossible to avoid you when you lifted mid apex's plus if i lift mid-apex in a 911, its spin time. Great turn out...where were you lot in the actual race season?! Great race. Bad result !

oh boy, that was scruffy in qually i was stunned by my own lack of pace... over a second a lap slower than i was this morning!!! Start was messy as the field bunched before the start line - i was watching the car behind in my mirror and drove into the back of a white f-430. Sorry whoever it was. So, with a broken front splitter and naff-all front grip i plodded round to the pit stops, which went well for once! I rejoined and set off after the guys in front which i caught with ease, but as i caught a green 911, it spun and i narfed him resulting in some more debris and once again, no front grip! And just when it couldnt get worse, i decided to have a look at a "bonnet view" and so pressed shift to cycle through the options.... Would some one like to explain to me what exactly "stickykeys" is? whatever it is it dumped me back to windows! Anyhow, i recovered my composure and had a little fun on track towards the end... sorry to raceline for the coming together, i`m really thought we had more space!!! anyhow.. great turn out, shame about the scrappy driving (mostly from me!!!)

that was an exciting race, i have to apologise to whoever it was that i hit on the warm up lap just as we all slowed up to put our rev limiters on before the start, i got caught out as the pace on the warm up lap was very fast. i enjoyed the rest of the race, got some good practice following other cars closely

I think it showed that I did a bit of practice for this one. Was still surprised at the gap to 2nd in qually tho' My race went as smooth as any race ever goes. I built up a nice lead in the 1st 15/20 laps and just relaxed from that point really. No pressure was on the pitstop so just put a bit extra fuel in to be sure of finishing the race. It was a nice test for me, though I made quite a few errors I was really pleased overall Hopefully see you at the next one Well done all

At the start i lost two places thanks to my indecisive teamie TT on the s/f line Sorry MJ, that was my fault actully. John accelerated off the line & I hit my pit release button, only it was the wrong button Was having a great race close battling with Legzy, TT and MJ until I pitted only to find some other car in my box. I was really enjoying that too mate, hard luck. Had you forgotten to press your 'pit request' button? Or had someone else not pressed their pit request & stollen your spot? Bummer either way

Very, very sorry about the start. Someone had just told me that it was a rolling start but my brain jumped out of gear. I was messing with the XD thingy because it wouldn’t show me the view that lets you mess with the pit stop settings on the fly. Panic!!! Then I looked over at the lights just as they went green so I went....................Straight into the back of the car in front who, surprise, surprise, hadn’t moved. Then I stalled the engine and couldn’t tell what was going on because of the noise of the other cars. I eventually set off after the pack and just about caught sight of them as I rounded the last corner. I was now in tune with what was going with the “safe rolling start” procedure and was thus staggered to find the straight littered with cars. I just managed to miss them and was then able to start my race. The race was fun and with a late pit stop I peaked at 4th. I didn’t change tyres and was on my way in reasonable time. Some good battles along the way.
