Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

I think I'll take the Escort if I can improve my setup and if I'm at home in time for this one

Thanks for the Heads-up. I hadn't noticed that. But does it have a hot air balloon?

Ouch indeed  Shocked  Blind, deaf and now walks with a limp no doubt.

Well we had a cracker  Smiley Had lap after lap of bumper to bumper stuff swapping places with Navin a couple of times until I eventually ran out of talent. Navin waited for me to catch up and Tibs joined us for part 2.

Nice combo Tony....must be the perfect track for the escort this, although I was worried that Ade would turn up in the mini and blow us all away. I hope we get the chance to use that escort again sometime  thumbup1

Congrats to Navin and Tibs and bad luck to all that fell out early on.

 First time here and I have to say I just love this style of track. Plenty of elevation change with some very technical sections that require car placement to be critical. Been a long time since I driven the Escort as well and although it is fun it can be fairly difficult to be consistent lap after lap. Early on I had the best seat in the house to watch the GT and Ade show. They were really going at it so I just tried to stay with them and be smooth as possible. Ade and myself exchange positions a couple of times before I was able to get by for good. Then I had GT to deal with and as it seemed we were very close in lap times. After learning my lesson earlier this week at the Glen when I was quicker than Pelle early in the race but then developed understeer later in the run I made sure went with a set that wouldn't do that so I could have a shot at the end. I was able to get by GT the first time and did notice that Ade was in the pits so that's a real shame as it was just great to have 2 makes and 3 cars so close together. Just the best to be able to race side by side with you chaps and not have to worry about any argy bargy Wink. Always know if you are the outside exiting a corner I will always give room on exit and not shove you off the track. And on the same token if I go too deep into a corner I will follow the outside of the corner and not chop back down to the apex trying to block. Frankly, I think that is the single biggest mistake that we see in Sim racing all the time. At least at pick-up races anyways. If you drive too deep into a corner the best thing you can do for yourself is keep the momentum up and take the longer radius exiting the corner. If you are side by side with someone exiting usually you will still be able to retain the spot because you will have just a bit more exit speed then the car on the inside. Plus, how many times have you been the car behind and the guy drives too deep in to the corner so you try and go for the pass just to have the guy chop back down on the apex with no mid corner speed so you hit them for behind. Then they say it was your fault because you hit them from behind Roll Eyes... The rest of the race was Goldtop and myself trading positions at least 3-4 more times and like I had said in an earlier post Goldtop and myself are very close in speed if all factors are the same so it could of gone either way for the win Cool. Just a treat to be racing with the best!! Cheers

Same here. Far behind I lost my rhythm, my concentration and last but not least my motivation.
So I crashed and finally retired.

Maybe I should have waited for you during start-up period for some nice fights, Tony ...

Nice battle between the "racers" in front of the grid. Grats to the podium.
