Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 227s

Don is following Demonic Dan up to McLeans. Don gets caught out by the first lap early braking and rear ends Demonic Dan, sending him off.
It was clearly accidental and not an overtaking attempt.
However, this is a classic rear ender and drivers are reminded that extra care must be taken on the first lap.

  • Don (Don1)penalty — rear ending demonic dan — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Thanks Picnic.

A messy race for me indeed with many spins and a few barrier crunches - glad to finish at all!

I hit the tyre wall at Goddards after about 15mins and from then on I just could not get the car to corner or brake consistantly.
By the last few laps I was barely able to keep it on the road and Blaz beat me to 5th in the Vertigo - good drive Blaz  Smiley

Had great fun all the same and cant wait for the rain in the Ardennes  Shocked

Sorry to hear about your woes Pops and Locutus.
Hey Locutus - have you got youir multiplayer data rate set to ISDN ? this is known (supposedly) as a cure for the 1fps bug.

Had great fun in this race but shouldn't have changed my setup just before getting onto the grid (won't be doing that again!)
Was doing alright until I got distarcted by two ferraris going off and followed them into the kitty-litter  Roll Eyes
Spent the rest of the race spinning out quite frequently (damn setup!) but thankfully didn't take anyone out.

Yet again, saw lots of battles for 1st through to 6th and 7th which made me smile.
Will be trying to give it a proper go next race as I think the time has come to forget getting used to the whole thing and just go for it. Cool

Congrats Tom! Saw a bit of your battles with Mo and Leuven, very entertaining! Cheesy

Thanks!
Entertaining, eh? I was sweating like a ... at the end, the chase took full 15 minutes, Leuven drives like a madman! If he didn't have such a good control, both of us would end in the wall. Good fun!

Yeah I agree, was great fun and Very close for quite some time  Shocked

 Grin

You did make a good (even if it was a bit BTCC) move down the inside at the Melbourne Hairpin, which you kept till the end. Wink

Was very close and cought right up a few times but in many places at Donny corner exit speed is very important, which made it difficult to get a run on you because i was already so close and had to ease off to avoid contact,
You not making hardly any mistakes didnt help me either Angry

Hi Gerald,

Yeah I saw that alright but I didn't see who it was. You went flying quite spectacularly through the air - must have been a mad speed whoever it was was doing.

Can't see it on the replay though.

Anyone fess up to it yet?
