Mike, Q2 is a qualifying session in the dark, is this what we will use.  Huh  Cool  If so folks you'll need one of the many "Bright Headlights" down loads.  thumbup1 wheelchair rockon

At least there are plenty of start lights on poles on this version, as opposed to those silly little lights, on the standard GTR2 versions that you can't see from my customary place at the rear of the grid.  Roll Eyes

Is there a brighter headlights mod for GTR2? I know there is for GTL

You think that's hard? You should try starting at the back of a grid in GPL, as often as not you can't even see the flag man  Grin

Should make this one tonight. I've only had a few laps and I'm well off the pace of the times posted here. I'll just try to keep it facing forwards and to finish in one piece.

Hell's teeth!  Not qualifying in the dark again!  Same think happened on Tuesday with the 2004 version.

Can it be fixed?  Or can we just draw lots?

I thought it was Q1 that was in the dark. Let me do a quick check again.
Yes. It is Q1 that is in the dark. Q2 is bright and sunny. If you haven't tried the Q1 session, I hightly recommend it. The starts and the artificial lighting on the trees look fantastic. When going by the trees, just imagine a dude has a bright spotlight on them.

My ability to make this race is looking more and more sketchy. My house in East Haven sprung a leak in the water pipes and I need to go now to look at it. Add to that, my 4:30 meeting is still on. Hopefully I'll be able to join in on quali and a couple race laps.

What G25/G27 settings are people using in PnG?

I use 540 degrees just because I prefer to keep my hands on the wheel all the time.

I can't see the UK-SIM server or any Spa 67 track from the lobby / internet. Actually I can see only 7 games hosted there, which looks odd.

I something wrong, or is it my connection or something ?

Server has just restarted
I couldn't figure how to do Qual 1 without Prac1, so we have Prac1 (hopefully not dark) Qual2, then race.

Bring back GTR2!

I would be one of them sadly. Was tailing Alex nicely in about 6th, saw an issue ahead & eased off, started braking a bit to be able to pick my way through & got hoofed up the rear end, someone still going full tilt, ignoring the cars slowing down ahead Sad
So found myself in 2nd last & did the rest of the race with broken suspension & a wheel tilted round... all on my own till the last lap & half when I found Alex again.

An evening to forget from start to finish.
