No MJ it doesn't cause any online conflicts or mismatches, but you can usually spot the ones that haven't discovered it yet.

I thought the 'simple car collisions' in the options was what was needed to ensure this didnt happen.

Nope, that appears to do this according to plr:-
"Simple Debris Collisions="1" // simplified collisions use less CPU but dont interact with walls"    Huh

ive edited the lines that Manteos mentions.....not that i ever roll the car  Wink
