Back on topic
Interesting race for me but clearly my usual plan isnt helping lol. I find these cars quite light on the tyres, and tend to run softs during practise so come the race i'm loathed to put meds on. Always enjoyed Hockenheim and was pleased with a half decent qually time, sadly behind my usual nemesis Legzy. From my calcs i could do it on 100L and felt the softs wouldnt really last behind half distance so decided to split the fuel meaming less weight and hopefully minimise wear on the tyres. It was going to work as well!
Early on i was stuck behind Legzy but managed to get past at the hairpin then surprisingly i was catching TT and Laz at some rate and got on the back of TT and after a mistake from him in the first corner hoped to get up the inside at the next corner but I guess it probably wasnt on and so nudged TT around. Waiting for him to recover meant Legzy got back past but managed to get back past again!
Though he was on my tail as we piytted but my longer stop dropped me about 20 secs behind, and right at the back
Caught nsfast though i think i scared him off! and was gaining slowly on Picnic and Matt. But the race ended just as we were all closing up. Another lap...sigh...
