Not sure that people change their grid slot much, sure someone might, but mostly people are going to not be
gung ho when they get just the one lap. I was watching the order very carefully last night as I was asking cars to go
because as I moved view back and forth to the running and waiting cars, I was conscious that someone who was 6th
after their run might now be 3rd and I would foolishly ask them to go a 2nd time by mistake, but it didn't seem
to happen. I like the single lap qually thing in general. I like it when we somehow (can't remember how)
got an out lap and then best of two laps. The reliably faster people tended to get up front, but it did mess
the order up a little.

I'm with Legzy on the one lap shoot out qualifying, I  just don't see the point  Huh so me a Geoffers would have swapped places wow (from what i saw we both had the exact same quali time anyway) and I'm sure i would of got ahead off the line in the Mustang then he would get back past in turn one with better brakes plus i always lose places at T1 lap 1 with being over cautious.
Some drivers only get to fire up their PC on race night and the extra time on track can only help  and hopefully get them higher up the grid.
why not just make quali shorter ?? if you get stuck in traffic  and miss out on a good flying lap then that's racing, I'm sure that would mix up the grid.

I'm not that fussed where i start on the grid so you could do a random grid for me.
                                                                                   Cheers Ade

Sorry folks for being absent but we had our 18 yr. old grandson staying for half term and he wanted to see as many on the sights of sunny Somerset as he could.  Wore “the olds”  wheelchair  out, trekking around with him.  yes  Hope to see you all next week as usual.    Grin

On the subject of the superpole - I'm not sure I'm overly in favour of it either.
I think either normal (Perhaps shortened) qualifying, or single lap for everyone.
As mentioned, superpole for the top 4/5/6/7/8/whatever is largely pointless as positions either won't change - or won't change much  Smiley

Disappointing practice for me.
Could not beat the 1:50 (offline best somewhere within 1:49) in free practice and was even slower in qualification (1:51.77), ending up in 13th position.
Seems that evolving my setup went into wrong direction.

Race was fun.
Very surprisingly I found myself on seventh place after lap one and even on 6th place after lap two
(now I know what happened).
Then during the race I lost place after place - as usual - due to individual mistakes
and after some crashes and damages of suspension and aero with increasing problems with the handling of the car.
Sorry to Miguel de Raton who was forced to stop once during the race after I lost the car.
Nevertheless I had some nice laps with AlexvV and Fulvio Policardi and could finish in last place. Grin

See you next time and thanks to all involved.

Tim, SpecialKS.
Never mind. Preparing for this race didn't cost me anything. As a result, rear bumps happens when you slow as I was  Smiley

I don't like this qualification system. I waste my time in watching chat window, because don't follow other drivers and want to be concentrated on my driving. And too much chatting during flying lap.

My pleasure. Glad somebody reads it  Wink

Was running out of talent in Scheivlak with the Pony Car. Tried to leave you room but maneuvering an oil tanker through the English Channel is easier than driving the Mustang at bumpy and twisty Zandvoort (not that I own an oil tanker).
