Just checked all settings nothing has changed, there was an update today but in the release notes there isn't anything that would effect it.

Hey fellas, our house move is complete, my internet is working but I have no way of piping it up to where the PC is so I'm going to have to miss this one I'm afraid Sad

I've ordered some of those Homeplug thingies so hopefully I'll be back for the next round.

I will have my race frame up as well by then so basically you lot won't stand a chance! lol

Despite the fact that a "few" people were missing ... I had a great race.

Getting into the server it looked like I'd had a few more laps practice than Jasper and Raimo, and was massively surprised at the gap in qually.

In the race, Jasper was in close attendance until he took an early pit after a nudge from a DP.  Looking at the gap I didn't think new tyres had been taken, and that if I took some fresh rubber consistency would bring me through.  After the stop JG was 9 seconds up the road, and the gap wasn't closing quick enough.  Luckily for me he span getting me within a couple of seconds.

In T1 I was making up a lot of ground, and ultimatley between T1 and T2 was where I finally managed to get alongside, and hold the line through the next couple of corners to make the pass stick.  Jasper was still making me work for it, and it was only with 5 to go when he made a mistake that I was comfortable and semi-cruised to the finish.

Barring a couple of sideways moments which were a bit of a worry - I was really pleased with my consistency, and although the attendance takes the shine off the result, I know I drove pretty well.

Looking forward to everyone coming back for the Spa race - which should be a cracker.

Cheers guys.

Shocking turnout  :'(

David was clearly faster so I didn't want to push too hard because I knew Dave was waiting for me to screw up.  Grin

I started heavy on fuel but was planning on pitting at the half way mark..  That changed when Dave left the pits in front of me...  By that point I was so bored I stayed out longer just so I could race someone..  However, on old tyres there was on one winner and Dave slowly pulled away...

I spent the next 35 mins hoping David would fall asleep. sleep1  But he never did.   Roll Eyes

Well done to David for the win, impressive pace as usual.  Well done to teamie Adam for the Stang win.  Thanks a bunch guys, we won't hear the end of this at Legends HQ.  Roll Eyes

Thanks to those that turned up.  Let's hope the turnout is bigger next race....

I have to say - had a "normal" attendance occurred it would have been a really interesting race.  Despite rovals not being as good as proper road courses, Daytona and Miami are well suited to it imho.

I don't really grok the "A" course - for some reason I thought there was a version without that tricky turn 1, but in fact all the A version adds is an even trickier version of the corner off the back straight and a slightly fumbly chicane.

Never found a comfortable setup so with so few of us in the race I just wanted to try and stay focused and make sure I didn't drop it anyway and hand Blunder a podium. The race was even more lonely than my 2nd place in the Mustang in the 11am Grand Am Premiere race, though I did at least have the consolation prize of a few good laps to keep Darren behind me between our stops.

In the end I was running out of concentration and cruised round for the last few laps once I felt the rears starting to go away. If I'd known there'd be no Sharks in the Mustangs I might've switched classes to aid our attempt to win the team championship there. Still, never look a gift podium in the mouth!

Great race guys, pushed at the start and opened up a gap on Darren, then i hit cruze control Tongue Shame there wasn't more people on track would have made it a bit more interesting.

Next up is Spa, not one of my favourite tracks and I really struggle to keep a decent pace going.

Ammended my paint scheme on Trading Paints now ... didn't realise I'd saved it with the wireframe turned on as I'd not run the updater on my desktop. Cheesy

Apologies for nonattendance, my connection has gone fubar again Sad

Engineer up Friday though, which leaves me about as optimistic as Leonard Cohen attending a funeral at Beachy Head, but you never know...

Shame about the attendance.
Was really enjoying that but in reality it was only ever gonna be hot lapping unless someone screwed up!  Grin
They didn't and after about 50 mins I quit, sorry!

Think I might have caused the Stangs a minor issue at one point, I was trying to hold back and give them room/ not interfere with their race but then they held back for me too..
Ended up an after you, no after you, no... no!!  Sad

Hope this picks up and I can make the rest of the season.

Bit tricky through there tbh.  If you're not past by T2 there's not a lot to do but wait for the next straight Sad
