(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: Some of the cars have a " Modern Compound" tyre choice. Can I ask that drivers do not use these tyres please. When driving with headlights on, there is a small section of track (near Stavelot) where the lights flicker. This is a fault and cannot be fixed at this time. Providing you know about it in advance it should not be a problem.

This looks like a fantastic challenge. I hope I can make the event. I think a US holiday (memorial day) is right around this time frame. I am working in the city more and more so I may need to take a day off to do this event if it isn't a holiday.
Put me down for a 917.

Tony I have a problem - Norton Internet Security won't let me download this track as only 5 people have done so therefore Norton treats it as a threat and automatically deletes the file. Is this the same version of the track we used in GTLDK (then I can copy that across) or is it an upgrade? If upgrade can any Norton expert tell me how I can tell Norton to belt up and let me use the download?
Can't use most of the recommended Anti Virus as it screws up my BT Yahoo browser and email system.

Bill, it is the same version but with an asphalt upgrade. Dump Norton. It used to be a great product but nowadays it's expensive bloatware. Maybe consider Kaspersky (other Internet Security software packages are available). If I put it on my Humyo account would that help?

Screwed up my system and had to get BT to take over computer and sort it all out. At that time BT told me Norton was their recommended Security System. I agree it's far too complicated now but I'm loathed to try something else and go through all that nausea again. I have been getting the car downloads through Humyo OK earlier this evening, so it could well help me. Thanks

Have you tried AVG internet security. It used to be free with optional upgrade. I use it with Windows 7 with no problems. I also dislike Norton it used to slow everything to the point of futility.

Thanks for that Tony - sorted, although Norton gave me an orange indication and warned me I was the first person to download it, I was given options which allowed me to proceed anyway. Mark thanks but tried to change Anti Virus System some time ago when we had our last bitch about Norton. Screwed up my system and had to get BT to take over computer and sort it all out. I use Norton too Bill, never had it refuse to let me download something though. A couple of times it has warned me that what I'm about to download might not be safe, but never when downloading sim racing stuff. I always scan any downloads before opening them though. Also I always put Norton into 'silent mode' when racing, stops it doing something unexpected & slowing things down or causing a minimisation.
Oh, nearly forgot (its my age you know!), the race looks interesting, however i will probably be going to BSB at Thruxton on the 30th so it depends what time I get home & how tired I feel, wether I race or not. 50/50 I guess.
