I keep getting booted as possible cheat when trying to join the server. Sad

I will keep trying.

When practising off line I noticed that the pit lane limit is 60mph. I have missed my pit box most of the times that I practised a pit stop. Roll Eyes

Thanks for the setup and replay Jon, the replay has been very useful to me. Smiley

Boring track. and got bored with getting in Legzy's way as he made dummy punches, until one landed.
no real damage, could have carried on, but could not face another 3/4 hour of the place
so didn't need much of an excuse to quit and go and do some extreme ironing.

lol
Agree it's a boring track.
I was very interested though Matt, at how hard it was to have a sniff of a chance to get past as you had more power & I was quicker in the corners. I just didn't have a chance no

Ended up ducking & weaving, trying to pressure you (as you know) into a mistake, as it seemed the only way I was going to pass...

Then when I saw you'd under-steered a bit wide through that 'double chicane', I dived in to the gap (probably a bit keen) & you recovered it excellently & bump we went Sad

I eased off & flashed you through but you didn't come & then I saw you'd quit to the pits (on my map) & then left Sad

Spent the entire rest of the race nowhere near anyone, till the last lap when I was rapidly catching a dying TT. If only the clock hadn't ended the race early :'(

Anyway, the experience will come in handy Cool

Yep
If I had not been thinking about the work I had to do for tommorow, and how I needed an early night to set off
for Stoke at 06:30 I might have carried on, but it was mind numbingly tedious track
I joined Spanner for some on line prac one night, 2 laps was all I could manage before I left  Sad
It's a classic Tilke takes the Arabs wallets for a ride. Accelerate, brake, slow turn, repeat for 60 mins
with a couple of token twisty "clever" bits, like the reducing radius left. no fun for me, just "awkward"
At least Monza has some character.
Ah well. I shall miss next Sunday as I am off up to sconny botland.

Marcos was fine. I think I finally found how I need to set this car up. It wasn't as stable as, say, C6R, but was much better than before. Smiley
First stint was fine, had 20 sec lead to Legzy. Then was a bit optimistic with fuel and had to short shift the entire second stint. Even so, it wasn't enough and Legzy was catching me 3, 4 seconds per lap in the last minutes and finally caught me in the last corner. Only The Power of the Beast saved my 3rd. Grin I didn't have enough fuel for another lap. Lips Sealed

I took the liberty of doing the results and replay. as the server seemed to be down for a while
I also started the GTL practice server.

Thanks Matt.

I left it till Monday to do the results and could not get on the server. Roll Eyes

Nice race for me but, I had Jon on my case and the motivation for learning the track for the GTWeb 24hr race was helping. I quite enjoyed the track.

I was way closer on fuel than I had thought and would have run out if there was another lap. I was quite happy when the race finished with 55 seconds still on the clock.

I managed to get Jon in the pits by not changing tyres and cutting the fuel closer than I realised (and wanted). Well done Jon, nice race. Smiley

Thanks all.
