It's just been pointed out that I forgot to post the race thread.  Apologies.

Anyone done any serious practice yet?  The Rads being at the Historic circuit this week means there's a good opportunity to practice and I expect a full grid. Wink

I was doing 1:45s when I practised last week but I expect the quick boys to be a little quicker.

Yes I'll be there this time, although I think it will be a DP benefit at this track with the DP's in the 40 or 41s bracket.

I'm at work late tonight but I should be able to start a practice server just after 6.  If I have problems Gary will do one around 8.

Looking forward to this one, although I think 40-41s may be optimistic, Gary Wink

Once you've factored in tyre wear and fuel consumption it'll be a much closer fight methinks. The real saving grace for the DP is that if one can get a good exit from Chapel behind a Radical it'll be powerless to resist and the DP will be through before Stowe.

Really fancied this one but looks like it's not happening! Shouldn't have done the race last night really - had a niggle in one of the muscles in my leg beforehand and following 45 mins of braking with a load cell it now feels utterly buggered to the point where I can hardly walk LOL! Definitely not going to be in the driving seat for a few days I'm afraid, just praying it's alright for the enduro!

Not sure if you do already Paul but it might be worth a mention on the iRacing forums if you want to grab a few extra heads.

I've tried it various times, I've PM'd people, not one new person has turned up.

The problem is not getting new people, it's getting the existing people to turn up.  If you're relying on getting new people al the time then I don;t see the great advantage of a league TBH.

Yep I wish I had the answer mate, it's like a black art.

Keep up with the PM's etc though - fresh faces can only be a good thing, occasionally they hang around and turn into existing people!

I've just noticed there's maintenance tonight at 22:00 and new hosted sessions are disabled after 18:00 so I'll start it just beforehand.

Bets to read the release notes for tonight's release guys as there are implications for tomorrow's race:

Riley DP

- Now has a new pit crew, who can make repairs to the motor, body panels, and suspension.
- Collision strengths updated so the car responds more realistically to impacts.

No more fast tows for the DP.  No change for the Radical.
