Any of you planning to enter the iRacing IZOD Premium IndyCar Road Series, starting March 13 on Laguna Seca?
Was thinking if we were a couple that plan to enter (which I do), we could help each other out. Share setups, setup tips, pace each other etc. Basicly, help each other prepare best possible for the races.

Today I will start preparing, getting some initial setup work done, familiarise myself with the car around the track etc. My goal - pure estimation, havent rolled a single meter in the IndyCar around Laguna - is to be able to run mid to low 13's in race trim. Come tonight I will hopefully be a little wiser Cheesy.

Didnt get to test/practise as much as I wanted this weekend, but I was quickly down in the mid 13's, by just using Gregor's Laguna Race setup, add 40mm front rollbar and my Silverstone dampers (+8 / 12 Front and +9 / 14 Rear), using 68 liters of fuel. Tweaked his ratios a little. Felt good already.

Yes I will be doing it. I'm doing all the IndyCar series this season except that I don't have all the oval tracks to complete a full season so I will only be able to complete full road series. Saturday is not always the best day to race so I will do Premier road when I can.

Had a little bit more in me tonight, but was a brief practise - too tired. I did however manage low 12's, and there is defenetly more in it. So mid to high 11's is probably where I will end up in race trim.
It was in a hosted practise I joined, and the fastest there were doing mid to low 10's, but I do expect that to be low fuel runs.
