I'm sorry to say that as from 6th April (the last event of R4a) I'll be stepping down as director of Race07. I've really enjoyed the racing and the organising, but I just don't think there's enough enthusiasm here to carry it any further.

I'd like to thank everyone for taking part in the last couple of seasons and for those who helped behind the scenes, particularly Tony for the event posting and all the LM2 work, Dave for putting together the intallers, Pete and Legzy for digging me out of server management troubles on numerous occasions and............anyone else who has helped me stumble my way through.

Thanks GT for all your efforts in organising these events . I've had some great races over last two seasons.

It is a shame about the worrying lack of enthusiasm here which has nothing to do with the quality of the racing or the sim. Sad

Yes, me too spanner....some of the best racing I've had, but the numbers tell the story. It's disheartening to see these events at RD and the like attracting full grids and drivers in reserve and where some of the racing is pretty average (being kind). I remember Ginsters commenting a while back that he thought we'd missed the boat with this here and I believe he was right.

It does seem to have proved itself as an enjoyable sim, it's just a shame that gradually srouk is fading away (except from an iR perspective) accross all our sims.

Well done for taking up the challenge, it was worth a try GT Smiley

I will repeat - even small fields have proven worth racing, so I hope we can get at least some drivers on the grid. Sad

bravo for trying GT, you was always against it with a wednesday eve slot here i think as its notoriously low attended. Mind you its quiet everywhere here now apart from Ir.  :'(

Ive only had 2 real fun and decently attended competitive races here since xmas and we are now 3 months in.  Sad  1 was an evo event at Imola and the other a GTR2 GT2 fun race. Wheres all the leagues, championships, competitiveness gone?  Huh
