Here's a video I made of the season finale. It's all dramatic and in slowmotion Wink

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riYwwG9lc7Y

Thanks everyone for the great races, I had a blast! And thanks to Adam (and the other admins of course) for organising this, let's hope we can get the numbers in for next season!

Thanks Jasper, I've been loving sending these around to my mates etc. This one doesn't seem to like mobile devices though, I think you need to change one of the settings based on the error message I'm seeing...

Thanks again for taking the time to do these - any time you fancy doing them for the iroc races you just feel free ;0)

Great video Jasper, I love the aristry of the music and video together.

I would love to get some videos of this quality done for Team Shark if you're interested in joining the team and maybe spending some of your time to produce a couple of videos for the team in between drives.

Thanks for the kind repsonses everyone Smiley

@James: The video should work for mobile devices now, never knew about that option, not sure why it's there even Huh

@Simon: Regarding teams, thanks for the offer but it's something I won't be motivated to dedicate any time to I'm afraid. Perhaps I will reconsider when we get proper endurance racing with driver swaps and such, and that would have to be the focus then. Regardless of that I would happily make a video for you, but you'd have to let me know what you expect from it, and it would probably take a while. Let me know Smiley

Fantastic video Jasper. I just watched it 4 times in a row. Simply awesome how you made music and picture work together. Great choice of music. Especially like the 'time laps feeling' sequence in the middle. Pretty much nails it, on how it feels when in the zone in a train like the Corvette. It just goes and goes.

Thank you  Wink

I'm a bit late in doing so, but I just want to apologise to Adam for my part in our Eau Rouge incident.

Looking in the mirror, I thought the Corvette behind me was a bit closer than it actually was, so I removed the 'brake and stay behind' option for fear of being rear ended - that's why I made the move in the first place. I left enough room but I think network conditions let us down there. Sad

Incidentally due to my broadband issues (which have since somewhat improved), I actually ran that race tethered to my iPhone, which was remarkably stable. My base ping was only about 20ms higher and rock solid, so perhaps I ought to get a Vodafone sticker on my DP for next season Smiley

Whoops -- just come back to this thread. Looked a great race though mine was rather short! Couple of incident I know and will have to wait til next weekend to check what happened on replay etc... I do know though that I tapped a Mustang towards the end of my race, so sorry about that. First lap carnage approaching Les Combes compromised greatly my car's handling. Then I got a bit of a tap from someone a lap or so later. Anyhow, really look forward to another race at Spa (any chance next weekend?)

Hi Chaps ... seen the moderator's report and fair enough. My one comment was that one driver was surprised by the point at which I braked. Well, that was the same point I had been braking at before so it wasn't that unusual really. I would also say that my surprise at the shunt was > than his surprise at my braking  Wink

We don't discuss incidents in the race thread  Wink
