(3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Special Notes: The grid procedure for Race 07 events is slightly different from GTL/GTR2. Upon joining the grid, you won't be able to rev your engine until all drivers are present on the grid. Do not attempt to esc back to garage or you will be DQ'd.

Club? no
Sorry H@l, I appretiate your efforts, it's just that I feel this track wasted on a measly Club class. I'll be there, of course. Cheesy

Have you actually driven it yet TT?

The track is very narrow compared to other versions and the track is pretty bumpy especially around the first half

wow, if you thought Istanbul was bumpy you wait until you do some laps here !  my virtual teeth got shaken out!!  Tongue Not sure zaandy is that bumpy but it was built on sand dunes after all in the 60's. Flipping challenge getting your dampers right! and my car was still grounding out with 7f, 9rear ride height!  Shocked

The cars feel wicked being hussled around here though, really enjoyed just doing half hour praccy.  Cool I think you get much better feedback and feel in evo than GTR2, far more involving driving a GT car in it.

Just a thought, but i take it because these evo/race posts are under 'announcements' does that mean outsiders taking a look-see wouldnt see it? ie.. if we put a link to this race on another website will it show up? Was going to try a cheeky heads up over at RD. Would be worth putting on No-grip too.  Smiley

welcome onboard Muskrat, always good to see new faces  Smiley

Times are British summer time. If you google timezone conversions it should let you pop in your local time and convert to BST. Hope to see you on track.

ps...i stuck a cheeky ad for our race at RD. See if it generates any other new faces.  Smiley

You're right, Spanner. Club class suits this track, though it's always hard for me to set up this class' cars - not enough power to simulate power oversteer, so I get good tyres for 5 laps only. Sad

Just a note.....UK Time went forward last weekend, so colonials may get caught out as I seem to remember
that Amercian time changes a week after or before UK does.  Shocked

Unlikely to make this.

Also, still undecided as to how I feel about Race/Evo Undecided. (i.e. it does not excite me like it does MJ, but I'm not against it either... I'm just in the middle at the moment)

bah, i numptied my own race...again  Roll Eyes

qualied a great 2nd place just a few tenths behind TT and looking forward to a close tough race.

When the lights changed to green i changed up to soon to 2nd and the car just bogged down whilst almost the whole grid sped past  Roll Eyes  but made a brilliant comeback and got past everyone except the front 2 by end of lap 1  Smiley  only to then get a cold tyre on an outside kerb on the penultimate corner that sent my car spinning around and back to the back again lol  Embarrassed
It was then crazy catch up time and i stupidly overdrove it for several laps and lost more time than i gained trying to catch the field.  Sad with cold tyres and brakes it was disastrous.
Rest of race was spent playing lonely hotlapper though i did catch JPS eventually and one other AI car before i pitted.

Finished a lonely 5th, shame as would have had a cracker upfront fighting TT and Ade and would have been interesting to see how our tyres faired with different setups and cars.
Oh well, always next time. Wink

Congrats to TT and Ade, fine drives  Cool

Raced in a dummy car. Wink
Race was great, dicing with Ade as we obviously had very differently set up car and so each of us was faster on a different track section. Cool Right up to his pit-stop, where I think there was a car in Ade's stall? Bad luck buddy, would be a superb action to the end otherwise. Sad

Dummy car Vertigo was suited well for this track. How was Viper, H@l. Tongue Saw you struggling in practice the other day already - grats for courage to take it. Smiley

Grats pody and all, too bad there's so few drivers willing to participate. Sad
