Thanks so much Navin...excellent information and yes it does seem to tie up with my findings on the relative strengths of the cars which is a bit of a relief  Smiley

You're about a second up on me in all cars except the Benetton which I think I have pretty well sussed now. That and a lot of practise probably explains why I'm a couple of seconds quicker in that.

What I would say to everyone is if you keep working at a particular car, it's amazing how much you can improve times even when you think you've reached the limit. That's one of the reasons I like this mod Smiley

I'm easy fellas so I'll go with the Minardi this time. Wink
Good luck starting the car Grin

Just tested the Minardi in an offline race. If you cut your engine in the pit, you will indeed not be able to restart it which is a fault with this mod. I've not come across this problem with other cars.

However, the only reason you would want to cut the engine is to refuel so if you run with a race length fuel load (as I presume most of us will) there will be no need for this. I also tested pitting for 2 minutes worth of repairs and keeping the engine running did not cause the temps to increase.

As I've mentioned before the Brno race, if you stall out on track you won't be able to restart the engine in any of the cars. My advice would be to have autoclutch enabled.

Probably took 3 hours to run them all. Ran 2 stints so I didn't get burned out. One early in the day and one at night. I'm sure there is more time available in the cars that handle very well but I was just trying to be consistent with my driving style to get a good baseline on laptimes. Interesting to run all the cars and feel the differences in chassis and engine character Grin. And yes, that's the first thing I did too is compare with Goldtops times from Brno and it was good to see some consistency Wink. That Coloni and I didn't get along at all.. Where some of the other "slow" cars had maybe one major defect like power on oversteer or fast corner understeer. They at least did one thing well. Like the Minardi is always loose exiting slow corners it is pretty decent in the fast corners with good turn in. Takes a set quick and knife's in very well. The Coloni doesn't have a major defect anywhere but just doesn't do anything very well either. A true dog Tongue..

Couldn't agree more. Chopped 2 seconds off the Minardi's lap time. And FYI, a fresh install of GTR2 seems to have cured my pitting CTD Grin
