I assume neither of you are connected via WIFI?

Assumed correct m8. Have never used Wifi connection for gaming even on Xbox360. Still believe the ethernet is the best way of connection.

if this one doesn't get a semi-decent turnout....

Off to the BTCC @ Oulton this weekend so I'm unlikely to make this one Adam - bloomin' annoying given it's one of my fave tracks but seems to just be the way it's going at the moment!

Nope. It's a problem that is backwards of the street cabinet. If you fancy a read, have a look through this thread: http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Up-to-30Mb-and-50Mb-broadband/BN2-High-Jitter/td-p/342527

Sorry chaps I'm at Silverstone on Sunday and I can only imagine Mrs Fred Basset's reaction if I trundle home and tell her I'm going to be racing for a couple of hours.

Hope you all have fun.

this is one tricky little track in the DP Shocked Shocked took me something like 20 laps just to get a full lap on the board now i can string 3 whole laps together  Shocked Shocked Shocked

thanks for the help this evening Jamie in the practice session  it helped me get my head into the track a bit and hopefully come race time i can do more than 3 laps on the trot  Undecided Roll Eyes

I love throwing this car around.

Adbul (Nice to see another oldschool RDer here btw), the jitter value ought to be a single digit; my VM connection used to have pingtest results like my Be ones above. I'm so glad I took the plunge to get a backup ADSL line put in - really looking forward to racing 'proper' again after so long!

Virgin Media 10Mb cable service in Harlow, Essex...

More worryingly the download speed is not what it used to be, although that might just be that server as I can normally get 800kbps when downloading something from a good server.
