Fraid I'm finding it too hard to drive this car here.

Don't worry Tony, when it comes to having a hard time doing this combo, you're not alone. At several points on this track the 'vette behaves VERY odd and unnatural. Simulation-wize this combo is no good IMHO, but it sure is a challenge . . . . .  and a fun one at that !

Please turn up and have some duels with me at the back of the field  Grin

What's wrong with the car?

It has some "get up and go" and you can point it where you want to go.  What more can you ask for?

Let me quote my fellow countryman Tom Kristensen: "If your in control with yourself and the car, that's fine ...... but then you're just not fast enough" Grin.

When I'm on the edge here, I can manage a 1.38.400, but I'm sure a better driver can cut appr. 2 secs more  Tongue

My goal for tonights race is to stay clear of the 'picnic spots on the track.

CU tonight

I fear I'll have to miss this one, cause I'm just doing a bakup of my HD after a trojan attack
yesterday.
Deleted the virus but I'm not quite sure whether I have to make a new install of my machine.

If the backup is finished in time I join the meeting, but had no time for practicing.

Grin Grin
He seemed to be still in great condition! Considering that he's driving a tractor... really not bad for the "oldie Michael"  Grin

I think I should change the face on my avatar... after that "talented" move Massa would fit better in it  Wink

Computer now able to select "Install anyway" when Norton rejects Megaupload.  So deleted original folder and reinstalled from Megaupload.  Still get the same result when I try and join.  More frustration and wasted time.  taz

Bill,

The one from MegaUpload works for me ?

The foldername in location should be jops , where the nogrip version made a folder with the name 09_Jops_Siffert.

Did you re-install the right one and restarted P&G ?

If you installed both the versions, you would probably need to delete the wrong one, or it could cause you a conflict when loading the track... Sorry for the late answer Sad
I hope you will solve this problem in time for the race...

Now I have to go.

Cu soon Smiley
