4:03 - 4:04 is a good time to aim for. I have done more laps on this track than any other in the past, I love it. Smiley

My setup has 15% power in diff, 60% coast in diff and splitter 2 and wing 4 on both the Panoz and the M3 if that is any help.

Here is my setup for the BMW M3:
http://www.gamefront.com/files/20430299/H_L_M3GT2_LeMans_R_svm

You may want to try soft front tyres and mess around with roll bar and brake bias settings to get it to suit you more. Also increasing the coast in the diff up to 90 and decreasing the power in the diff down to as low as 10 and putting the pre load as high as 3 may also help.

I recommend using GTR2 XD for this race to watch engine health and choose tyres while still on track:
http://www.vitumo.de/

Remember Michelin runners, if we have some rain the intermediate tyre is not so good, you will need to push the dry or wet tyre quite far into a changer over period.

NOTE

When pitting, do not request pit stop until at least half way around the track. If you request your stop sooner, the crew will go back in the garage before you get to them.

Gutted.

Good turnout & feeling confident of a decent race. We did the pace lap & on T4 of 1st flying lap... everyone disappears & I lose connection :'(

Especially gutted when I immediately notice as i return to desktop that my wireless was enabled Angry

was in the 2m05s consistently in testing but in quali i managed to ruin every lap and qualify near the back  Sad

start immediately proved the 911, or more specifically my setup for it, was not quick enough in a straight-line Undecided. The higher aero helped me gain it back in S3 but it was harder to overtake.

Sorry goldtop for not being able to avoid you  Embarrassed i didnt realise your car was that out of control and going to come round, thats why i kept my foot in... in hindsight i should have lifted  Lips Sealed

About a third of the way through the race i was running 10th, last place, as about 5 people had retired. Had been about a consistent 10 secs behind APEX when my computer froze braking at the end of the Mulsanne, and then unfroze with me bouncing off the tyre wall  Sad

shame because i was happy to carry on even last  Roll Eyes

Took the beemer, thought to have not much used car. Turned out it was very well used. Cheesy What was a good turnout proved to be less so quite quickly. too bad. Had some chasing with Lazlow, Prof and SRW, though I was mostly alone. To big a track for 10 drivers. Undecided Symbolical value was quite ok though. Smiley

Erm, weather was dry. Is the clever weather file better now or too dry to use in the League? Smiley

No problem...it would have been very difficult to avoid hitting me as I was already out of shape.

Took the normal RSR with a 1:3 wing setup which was great fun and surprisingly controllable once I got used to it (or so I thought  Roll Eyes) Gutted to have crashed out on the first flying lap again as I was hoping my 1 stop strategy would see me well for the last part of the race.

Lost the rear wing and limped back for repairs having a few spins along the way. Car was horrible after so I bailed out. Only bonus was I got to watch a thrilling 35 laps of the F1  Cool

Results will be done soon. Can VDA Ayrton4_94 give me his user name for simracing.org.uk web site so I can add him to the results please. Smiley

Great race. Smiley

I was happy with my pace in qauly and I thought that I may get an easy ride in this event but, it was not to be.

I made a good gap to position 2 early on but, I could not get the gap over 7 seconds. Mantios and Ayrton did not allow it. Grin

I took an early stop for some fuel and after I was back on track, I realised that many drivers were going to attempt a one stop strategy. At this point I was worried that I would not be able to challenge for the win. I started to get back through the field and made my way back near the front and after a while I saw Mantios, Ayrton and Riccardo Piccinini pit. At this point I thought I could still challenge for 2nd place at least but, I knew that after my 2nd pit stop it would be very close. Sure enough I came out just a few seconds in front of Ayrton but, he was soon on me and I was really feeling the pressure now. I drove side by side with Ayrton down the first straight in to the Play station corner but, he out braked me and was through.

I started to make a few mistakes at this point and had to have a little talk to my self to keep calm. Grin

To my surprise Mantios, Ayrton and Riccardo Piccinini soon went into the pits for a 2nd stop but, Daniele Scarpa did not. Me and DS had a good lead on all the other drivers at this point and it was really hard to keep concentrating. I could see that I was loosing a lot of time, I think due to lack of tyre grip after not changing tyres in any of the stops.

I was then gifted the win when DS made a mistake and then pitted before the final lap.

It was a lot of fun for me with some good fights with several drivers, not thinking I could win then having the tables turn and having to concentrate so hard to stay on pace with the VDA drivers. Smiley

When taking on fuel in the stop you can fill to 100L at normal refuelling speed but, 100 - 130L seems to take a lot longer to go in. I think that by taking 2 stops and filling only to 100L each time could have won me the race.

Thanks for attending all. Smiley
