Really sorry for the nudge in T1 Matteo, It was very poor driving on my part.

No problem Matt Wink SxIt happens  Grin
I thought that was someone who didn't wait me, but I was (obviously) totally wrong...

Don't worry Matt Smiley

I hope to be more lucky the next race Wink

Wow, my best ever drive I think.  Started practice banging into all the scenery or flying over barriers.  Had a short break, bugged wife over who was who in her soap.  Came back and immediately started to get dialled in and set a new PB – repeated this in qualifying (new PB).
Messed up race start as car in front was slow to pull away - Tony passed me. After that I settled down and started to catch Tony catching him up the mountain and just managed to avoid his spin.  Pity about your sloppy whatsit, I was looking forward to continuing our battle here.  Passed Special ks and Geoffers in similar circumstances and managed to hold time gap to the car behind, whilst car in front Legzy I think gradually pulled away.

Geoffers gradually caught up to me and chased me up and across the mountain until I over cooked it at the last bend before Conrod Straight, running wide onto the shale and slowing down.   After that it was a lonely race concentrating on getting good lap times, including a new PB and a number of laps around the same time as qualifying time until the end.  Managed to avoid all the tracks hazards and had only a handful of minor drifts onto the grass/shale which just slowed me without causing any angst.
A good nights racing on my favourite track.  Congrats podium and I’m amazed how Ade manages to wring such lap times out of the only Lotus Cortina in the race.   Well done Kerbies.

Very impressive pace in the Cortina Ade, even if I had managed to stay on the track the first couple of laps I wouldn't have been able to keep up.

Race started well, missed the Mustang shenanigans at T1 & got into 2nd place, then threw it away with a spin later in the lap. Spun again on lap 2 & got stuck behind the barrier for what seemed like forever  Roll Eyes. Rejoined with just Eifel behind me & then drove as hard as I could to catch up. Passed Tony as he was recovering from a spin & then caught & passed Burtoner & Bill. Eventually closed in on the battle for 3rd between Legzy & Phil & was with them with 3 laps left.

Had a great fight over those last laps, passed Phil but then got held up by Legzy's Mustang over the Mountain & Phil got back ahead on Conrod. Retook him on the S/F straight but then half spun over the Mountain & lost the place again. Caught back up as we came onto Conrod for the last time & got ahead of Phil again, but slightly too early as he drafted back alongside down to the last corner. We took the last turn side-by-side but Phil got a bit better run out of the turn & pipped me by just over a hundredth of a second!  Shocked Great stuff.

Congrats to Ade, Matt & Legzy. thumbup2

Already lost the race after less than 1 lap, totally lost motivation but then decided to go on because I love the track.
Could pass Tony due to his problems and had a nice battle with Burtoner which I finally won.
Recorded a new PB and could finish in 7th place.

See you next time.
