Nice! Hope i can make it.

Still no joy with the 997? Did you try it with other tracks online?  edit: I just tried hosting a race on GTRevo using the 997RSR at Silverstone and got no mismatch or fault references at all  Huh Took the car out on track fine. So what was the reason we cant include it in the GT Sport class?

no response? cat got your tongue?  Tongue

edit: just tried two different cars, both 1:48's with full tank of fuel. Only handful of laps in each so more to come off that.

Took 95L at the start as that sounded like it would be enough (judging by the other drivers on TS in their cars), but found I was going to be about 25 litres short with 15mins to go.
Tried pitting again, but couldn't work the buttons quick enough before it took the options away.

In terms of fun, car was a bit better this time as I remembered it was way oversteery last time, but I made a bunch of mistakes in the opening laps & didn't have another driver to race the whole time (bar one lap with H@L as I passed him).

Managed a 1:49.5 in the end, which from the sound of it would have been a competitive enough laptime.

I'll be back for the next one, but I think I'm going to need to see a bigger grid & get more out of it soon... Undecided

cracking race for first 40mins or so...until the stops broke up the fight.

Qualied 2nd on the grid in my Vette behind Laz.

First 40mins were excellent, chasing Laz hard with spanner and matt in pursuit of me. Then Spanner got in the mix as my tyres went off a little and it was a great 3 way fight for lap after lap  Cool
As the stops approached i could see i had way too much fuel lined up as the fuel calc for this version of silverstone is way wrong  Roll Eyes but couldnt do anything about it and didnt want to get all fingers and thumbs in the pits so just let the crew put in my scheduled 20mins worth. Alas Jim had gone for just tyres and i rejoined 21 secs behind him  Sad Spanner and matt were a further 20 secs down the road so it turned into a dull lonely hotlap for last 15+mins. Shame as would have been great to continue the 3 way fight to the end.

Was pleased to bring the car home a safe 2nd behind Laz  Cool

Shame turn out was pants, not helped by two DNF's on the grid  Shocked  dont know why we didnt restart to help them back in? would have been easy with 10 runners  Huh

Nurby GP next, great track for GT racing in Evo  Cool

Was sort of competitive, was quite happy to restart, was waiting for the server man to call it.
Got passed by spanner after a few, then held TT off for some. took 10 laps of fuel I didn't need
changed tyres and came out not far behind spanner who dived back in the pits
and then kept it mostly clean up to the flag with MJ slowly pulling away, and Spanner
slowly catching. I like Rcae07 and it's family, I just detest Steam.

My overeager crew decided to pump in some fuel but didn't change tyres, so exactly the opposite of what I wanted to do. Of course, it's all my fault for selecting the wrong pre-selected pit strategy and cancellation is not possible. Felt it's about pointless to continue as I'd be a lap behind everybody and score the same place as I did by getting out. Undecided Playing World of Tanks was much more appealing. Wink
