Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Special Notes: The grid procedure for Race 07 events is slightly different from GTL/GTR2. Upon joining the grid, you won't be able to rev your engine until all drivers are present on the grid. Do not attempt to esc back to garage or you will be DQ'd.

No practice yet and that's why I like this series, there's no need to spend hours and hours thrashing out a setup Grin

I just stuck a new thread over at No-grip in the 'Race' section advertising tomorrow nights race. Lets see if it generates any interest.  Smiley  Shame i didnt see this thread before today as a bit more notice may have got some further notice over there. Worth a punt. TC's are very popular in sim world elsewhere, so it must be our lack of advertising thats affecting turn out. Undecided

Hi Guys, I'm new here Smiley

Seen the post @ no grip and I couldn't refuse the chance to race Touring Cars, best sim racing around!

Shame I can't make this event as I run my own events and its the final race of the current season at the same time as this event, I will try and make Donington, is it the National version?

If you want to know what I'm like for racing with, here is my stats page at the site I race at : http://www.race2play.com/homepage/show_history/9305

ctd ?...is that what you call armco these days?  laugh  Wink

Had great close racing action as usual with the TC's at brands, always guaranteed !

I think i need to try another car next time here (or borrow RR's beemer setup  Wink ) as i feel like i am rinsing every last drop of grip and bhp out the thing but making no progress laptime wise  Tongue  Was able to do 1:35's offline but online mainly 1:36 in qually and 36/37's in race trim. Rear tyres take a hammering from oversteer but if i induce understeer in the setup its a pig to get around most of those fast rear of the circuit corners.

Race one had a safe 5th place in my hands with a 9 sec lead over the chasers but with about 6mins to go i got a wobble out of dingle dell and spanked the armco. Dragged the car around last few laps with suspension damage and came home 8th or 9th Sad

Race 2 was flipping mental all action with the whole pack bunched up for first few laps and continued with a 3 way beemer fight for first half of race with TT and Evert. I finally oversteered out of druids and headbutted the inside armco...race over  Roll Eyes

Great fun and congrats to fast guys on the pody  Cool

ps....just got a message saying 'Steam has finished downloading Race07'...anyone else get that? is it a new patch?

Didn't see that but then I quit Steam each time the PC starts, however the game still runs  Undecided It's some sort of voodoo magic.

Really struggle to get the cars off the start, I know the Beamers are quick but I always lose places to other FWD cars as well Sad I have similar issues out of slow corners. I either don't seem to be accelerating of I'm spinning up the wheels. As usual manic races and I had to go lie down for 5 mins to recover Smiley WD to the podiums for both races
