yeah as far as i know, you just drop the skin into that custom skins folder and voila ! A big improvement over GTR2's method. Its all they did over at RD for the GT series i just finished and worked a treat.
Albers has knocked me (& TT) up a superb looking Beemer skin in the legends colour. Be a shame not to show it off ! It will look gorgeous spinning off at Craners  Grin

Special Notes: The grid procedure for Race 07 events is slightly different from GTL/GTR2. Upon joining the grid, you won't be able to rev your engine until all drivers are present on the grid. Do not attempt to esc back to garage or you will be DQ'd.

I see your point from the silverstone race Spanner  Wink  oops

Tried to join you guys but the game crashes when I try to start it up. Tried everything I can think of to get it to work but no joy, even tried reinstalling it. Very annoying as I built a new machine and had tested this worked after the rebuild already so no idea why the game just crashes on startup.

that was great fun again  Smiley

Hindered myself by practising on the gp layout last two nights  Embarrassed  The beemer really doesnt like that last chicane at the top of hill on the national layout  Sad

Still, thought i was on the money throughout praccy when i was 4th quickest but then in qually everyone seemed to gain half a second!  Shocked
Race one was frantic great close action for most of it, but i gradually slid down from 6th or 7th to 10th, then with about 5mins left NSF unfortunately collected me into that final chicane and i dropped to last.  :'( But he gallantly gave me back at least his place on the final laps.
Race 2 was great from the off with plenty of action but lady luck kicked me in the kahunas around T1 when Piccers came broadside across the track and i t-boned him with no chance of avoiding. Got suspension damage but decided to race on anyway. Had a great battle with Purds and TT after me and TT did formation spinning out of T1  Roll Eyes Was great fighting but eventually my oversteery car dropped me back and finished a lame 12th.

You lot are flipping quick in these TC's and i havent quite got the knack of them over a race distance but still great close racing and fun. Good turn out too !  thumbup1 Thanks once again to Albers for knocking me and TT up a team skin, it looked tasty in game (guessing Purds may want one too  Wink )

Congrats to JR on his wins and the podium  Cool

ps...anyone try that headlight mod? i didnt get a chance to install it before the race.

Race one was a good event with a shitty ending. Tyres fell off the cliff with 2 laps to go and I lost two places in the last lap. Lips Sealed
Race two started worse, Mr.Naebalov overslept the start and he was in my way, had to swerve around and lost momentum, was losing place after place in the first lap. That, of course, is my fault not his. Cheesy It was strange, my pace was much slower in the second race - what changes are there from session one to session two? Maybe I managed one or two fast laps but otherwise the car was feeling a lot worse, I used more fuel and tyres were worn even more. No, I didn't change anything in the setup. Sad Though I liked dicing with MJ in the second race, I was less than satisfied with my pace and it spoiled the experience.

Good work with the skin, it looks great and feels nice to have it after all this time without. Smiley

Grats Jeff and Grats Dan on the Championship  Afro

Can't expect much only driving these cars once a week so all I could do with my pace was use my race-craft. Had some great close racing in race one. trying to avoid the wooden spoon award  Roll Eyes ... but didn't  Tongue

Good fun with tibs & nsfast  Smiley

Race 2 I went from 11th to 6th after a great start, the one advantage of the beemer i guess. Ended up throwing it away but with my pace is was never gonna last  Cheesy
