GGrrr..carpy ATI cards  Roll Eyes Been suffering with intermittent black screens and other troubles ever since I bought this heap of junk. Tried everything to fix it but I give up. Must have over a dozen blackouts in race, thankfully with no-one around me but the last one was longer and I ended up dropping through space. Hehehe, just had another one typing this  Roll Eyes

Not happy.

You sure that cards seated properly? Are random blacks screens due to a card failure or a week connection?

Nah, it's a common problem with 5850 cards, as I found out after I bought it  Roll Eyes Overclocked it , underclocked it, even managed to change the voltage (that's a story in itself).

Complete junk. waste of money, time, effort and errrrr electricity thumbdown

Good race. Was a bit baffled with what car to use. Times suggested Alfa was fastest, then Mustang and Tina
slowest, yet the Tina was the only one that wasn't on the limiter at the end of the straight so took him
was not on the pace of the front runners, but had some good tussles with Tibs, Eiffel, Sqrtr, and later Geoffers
who was catching slowly, but I thought I should stick it in 1st gear rather than 3rd so I could spin and let
him catch and pass  laugh

So I managed to forget to engage brain/1st gear at the start and consequently was last heading down the hill. Made up a couple of places before arriving at Geoffers spectacular spin on Lap 2 and even though I tried to cut across the lawn to escape his vehicle I was drawn to it like a moth to a light. After that I only gained places due to retirements and had a lonely race trying to catch Eifelblitz but his pace was constant with my own. Still thought it was an entertaining race on a great circuit. And nice to see all three makes represented.
Wonder what Sepang will bring?

Ahem, yeh sorry about that to anyone who got involved  Roll Eyes. I turned into T2 a bit early, got up on the kerb & got a bit out of shape. Would have got it sorted but failed to take into account Goldtop's Mustang just in front, bumped into the back of him, GT carried on OK but I did several pirouettes! Shocked. Got hit a couple of times but once I got going again the car drove fine. Still had good fun tearing around mostly on my own for the rest of the race & luckily got 4th when both Sqter & Matt spun late in the race.

Congrats to Cossy, Ade & Phil.  thumbup2
