Terribly sorry Geoffers, forgot start/finish line is not same as leaving pit exit. I was wide right to take fast left kink and screwed up big time, once again sorry.  hammer hammer

No worries Bill, made for a fun chase back through the (unfortunately slim) field. Had a good battle with Matt's Jag for several laps, finally got past & then spun half a lap later Roll Eyes Lucky to get 3rd in the end when GT spun on the last lap.

Congrats Hristo & Matt & all who turned out.  thumbup1

An entertaining event.
Was surprised to find myself snapping at Hristo's heels near the end.
Pelle had some bad luck as I got wobbly in one of the chicanes he went up the
inside to avoid, and stuffed it into the inside wall  Sad

Bill's kamikaze move at the start made life more interesting...  Shocked
Remember to take the cocoa "after" the race  next time Grin

Thanks for being so understanding, also thanks Tony.  Matt, my wife goes to sleep early so cocoa is taken prior to Practice and I have to get last comfort break in before race.

Was a better one for me although I crashed in lap 9 and had to retire  Grin .

The Abarth is really great fun to drive on this track for me!

Played a little bit around concerning the setup during quali but
eventually stayed with my original, more sweet-tempered one.

For my conditions I reached a satisfying time in quali so I hoped
for some fun with the more "comfortable" guys  Wink .

Had a nice but short battle with Tony in the opening stage but
made one of my usual - and stupid - mistakes and lost connection.
During the race I could see Tony again on the horizon twice but
overmotivated I had a turner and a rollover each so I realized that there
wouldn't be any chance for more this time.
At least I reached a new PB - as meanwhile usual  Smiley - but in lap 9 I lost
control, destroyed suspension and race was ended.

Thanks for organizing another great event with (unfortunately) slim attendance.

Slim attendance but this has to be expected as we approach the season of office parties, xmas shopping etc etc.

Never raced the Jag before and would normally have opted for the Lotus, but it made a nice change last night. Made a good start and having avoided the T1 tangle I found myself ahead of Hristo's Lotus.

It was good fun having an agile car snapping at my heels for a change and I was able to position the Jag in such a way as to prevent Hristo from driving optimum lines.  I got the impression he was being a bit gentle with me, even so we had a terrific battle, swapping the lead countless times and always very careful to leave each other room when needed. Great stuff  Cool

Unfortunately a gentle tap from behind coming out of the final turn was enough to send me spinning into the armco. Hristo waited of course, but my front suspension was awry and my lights were broken which meant I spent the last few laps spinning around. Still, some of the most enjoyable racing I've had in a long time.

How you managed to get those laptimes from the Jag is a mystery to me. Well done mate.

Sorry for the tap, goldtop, I failed to predict the speed difference of the cars at the moment. I waited and thought it was you who recovered, but apparently it was phspok and the fight moved on between myself and him until the end of the race.

Although I had a lot of pace in Qualifying (IMO most of you just weren't using those green curbs enough), the race was a bit different. The jags were very hard to pass because of their straight-line speed and people seemed to have found some speed compared to Qualifying, so it turned out to be a rather interesting race, particularly the battle with goldtop - excellent racing!

Shame that Geoffers was collected at the start, otherwise it could've been a 3 way fight.
