Sorry Jamera. Not sure what the hell was going on up front, seeing someone decide to overtake half the field into the last corner then everyone anchoring up for no reason Pitted for repairs but automatically switched the engine off then couldnt restart it. About sums up this dreadful week.

No worries Spanner, pitted for a new rear wing, usual 2 mins in the pits lol. Just used the race for data for GT really, seems looking at the best lap times here we break down into roughly 3 groups, fast, faster and bloody fast lol

was not happy in this car at all! until the race.... which is not a bad thing! Had a fairly error free race save for a few wheels dropped on the grass. I wasn't too fast and my tactics were to simply drive smoothly and pick up any places through attrition. A mad pace lap again which I am confused about but not seen the replay. Just a shame it ruined a couple of peoples races All a pace lap needs is concentration and smooth driving at a consistent, non-eratic speed !! Hopefully more attendees in future but it had no effect on what a great race it was Was hoping to hold-off goldtop in the closing stages when both of us were squirming about on very tired tyres... but he got past with a mega move on the last lap Grats Son on another great drive, you had to fight for this win! and nice drive from Hal

Kind of like Andy I wasn't really happy with the car until very late into practice. But did get a good feel right before qualy . My own fault for not having any practice until last night for a handful of laps. During the warm up lap it seemed that we were going too slow and then too fast and then way too slow again. Would be better if the leader held a more consistent speed throughout the lap so we don't accordion into each other . Even though I ran a bit before the end of qualy with race fuel and hard tires for some reason the car seemed very loose at the start of the race. I had a lazy trail braking spin in turn one lap one. At least I didn't collect anyone that lap, but unfortunately I did basically the same thing on the second lap exiting turn one and this time I did collect Legzy . I wasn't sure if you were letting me through before turn one Legzy so I was too tentative going into the corner and then just got on the power too much or too soon and spun out into you. Very sorry for that Legzy. After that I did at least get into a nice rhythm and was able to chip away at SRW closing about a half second per lap until about lap 17 when we started to have a nice battle. We seemed to be fairly even in top speed so no easy pass was going to happen. Had a couple of runs and some outside passing manuvers but SRW was driving very well and just had to wait for a very small mistake when SRW dropped a wheel exiting turn 3. But even after that I wasn't able to gap him much and had a close battle to the last lap. Good stuff A big congrats to Son for another great race and also to Hal and Jubei for great runs as well

yeah, that was a fun battle in the second half of the race Navin, as you kept creeping closer to me i thought that once you were past you would be able to pull way easily but i managed to keep the gap to around a second and was hoping you would crack under the pressure!

I had one exciting moment concerning "racing". The moment GT made a mistake and was then chasing me. He closed the gap slowly and was not yet in a position to overtake but peeked out before "Curva do Sol" anyways. I looked back in disbelief (he's not known for bombdives) ... and promptly missed my braking point. Can't believe I fell for it like a helpless rookie. I was all alone (again) after that. Boring race. Even so, I'm gonna drive the Championship. Can't believe some guys complaining over small grids and making this a reason not to show up. Seems like a Zen riddle.

Yep I was surprised you fell for that one mate I had my own silly moment at the same corner earlier in the race when I tried to deter a closing H@L from making a move and cost me 4 places Enjoyed the drive back though and pleased to get a few points on the table after last week's bad start. Congrats to Son,on another impressive win and to H@L and Jubei for the podies As for the low turnout: These events take a lot of organising and if they're not supported well enough it will be hard for me to justify the time put in. I know there were a few last night who would have been there if they could have, but lets hope we see better turnouts for the rest of the season.

I do apologise for not turning up myself. I'm afraid I was out for a meal and didn't make it back in time. I'm hoping to make most of the remaining races, however .

Very fun race for me. I was lucky with people falling off the track and managed to get into 1st place. It only took a few laps before Son was on my case and he remained behind for a short time as I defended, he was waiting for a good moment to pass and he was clearly better under braking. He soon made a nice move going around the outside of me into T1. Good racing Son. I did my best to stay with him after that and got close a few times but, with Son so much better on the brakes, I could not make a move. For me, F1 88 mod has been some of the best racing I have had on GTR2 with everything happening so fast you have to think very far ahead when close to other cars and respond very quickly when things change. A great test of reactions and quick thinking. Great car/track combo I thought.

and these bad boys just take a lot of praccy and setting up You'll find MJ, that once you've picked your car for the rest of the season, do a setup for the 1st race & it'll only need minimal tweaks at every other track with this mod. Most of the tracks you know already & it only takes 30 mins to find your groove (for a man of your driving ability standard ) Understand about the busy schedule though. But for me, this is my #1 event of each week currently, so gets priority.
